Extended Stay America Lexington Park - Pax River

We usually stay in nice places - we have never had someone at the desk argue that our bed is full size and we know very well it is a double; we have a queen size at home. They did not even know what the Signature begging kits we paid extra were - we had hoped they were to make the beds more comfortable. Plus a very small tv maybe a 19" looks like the kind we see here out on the streets for throughouts -We havent been in a reasonabley priced hotel lately that didnt at least have small flatscreens.

The purpose of our trip was house hunting prior to moving for a new job. The front desk is only open from 7 AM until 11 PM, even though there is a full time attendant present 24 hours. You have to call them on a phone provided in the foyer or by a cell phone to check in after hours. The staff was friendly, courteous and knowledgeable about the area. The rooms are nicely furnished although the hotel in general was no frills with only one vending area on the main floor and the aforementioned desk hours. There is an elevator making the transfer of luggage upstairs much easier if you are on the 2nd or 3rd floor. I believe the hotel attracts more business clientèle than families or vacationers so it seemed much quieter, particularly on the weekend. Overall I found the Extended Stay America Hotel to be comfortable and fairly priced and would not hesitate to book there again.
