Unfortunately, we were unable to get reservations through the block , but were pleased overall. The breakfast was just okay and, even though the breakfast ended at 10 am, the staff was so quick to clean up (even though visitors were still eating and not done yet). The front desk was so accommodating and friendly...we would definitely stay there next year. (we had stayed at the Greenbelt Marriott in the past and glad we changed hotels).

Just The Right Hotel!
A very simple but definitely adequate hotel for five people (two rooms)on our recent family vacation to Washington D.C.. Conveniently located 1-2 miles from the Largo Town Metro rail station, the hotel offered a daily shuttle van to the Metro in addition to service to local eating establishments. The air conditioning units were noisy on occasion, but not atypical of other hotels I have stayed at. The front desk staff was very friendly, no problems checking in/out as we purchased a flight/hotel package from Cheap Tickets. Norma, who ran the morning breakfast buffet, was absolutely delightful and was always concerned if we liked the fare; good variety from cinnamon rolls, yogurt, eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausage, ham, fruit, and cereal just to name a few. Hats off to our shuttle drivers David and Alex who always had a smile and were always pleased to pick us up from the Metro or local restaurants. Overall, a hotel/staff that I would recommend for your next stay in the D.C. area. NOTE: Largo Town Metro is approximately 30-40 min away from key D.C. sites; no problems negotiating the Metro!

Dining tip:
Short walk from hotel
Some dining is within walking distance (5 min)from the Largo Town Metro Station. Again, the hotel has a shuttle to/from the Metro and a list of restaurants they provide you when you check in.

D.C. Anniversary Trip
The hotel was easy to get to. I used a GPS, but even w/o it wouldn't have been hard to find. We arrived at Noon and check-in isn't until 3pm, but we were told we could check in early, at around 1:30-2. So, we went around the corner to the restaurant park to get lunch. The staff was very friendly, especially the women at the continental breakfast. Largo Town Center is the closest Metro station, only about a 5 minute drive. Very convenient. I would stay again!

Short drive from hotel
The restaurant park is around the corner, but there is also the Largo Town Center a short drive away with more dining and shopping and a movie theatre.

Cough cough college party place
The room was great, breakfast was good, but when we arrived and it smelt like there was a party on our floor cough cough..., which could cause me and my wife to lose our commision as officers in the U.S. Army one day I will never go back there.

Great experience
Hotel staff were wonderful. Free shuttle to the Metro was so convenient. Pool and hot tub have handicap accessible lift and lifeguard on duty. Pool hours are limited to evening during the week. Overall great stay. Like the quieter atmosphere from previous downtown hotel.

Comfortable Stay
We stayed at this hotel on a recent sight seeing trip to DC. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and (for better or worse) appeared to have a security guard on premises. The hotel appears to be in a quiet office park, and is neighbored by a police station. The hotel is roughly a stones throw from the Redskins football stadium, and was quite close to a Metro blue line station, which was it's chief selling point for me. The attendant in the mornings at the complimentary breakfast was quite friendly.

Acceptable, but not fantastic.
The hotel appeared to be fairly new, but had some cleanliness issues. We had two adjoining rooms. The first was obviously smoked-in (smoke free hotel) and the second was a little less clean than I would prefer. The air conditioning in the hallway didn't work so the hallway was very warm. The pool was okay, but so cloudy you couldn't see the bottom. Overall I was pleased and the hotel served our purposes. I didn't have high expectations for the hotel so I wasn't disappointed. It was on par for what I expected. I still prefer Marriott's.
