We have stayed at this hotel in the past and found it very nice. The room we were in is starting to show its age...peeling bathroom paint, shower valve not working properly, door lock not very secure. The pool jacuzzi wasn't working either. They no longer offer a free breakfast in the morning.The staff at check-in was great and placed us in a very quiet location. She was very efficient and pleasant.

Hunt Valley Courtyard
The hotel was great; clean, quiet, well staffed, decent breakfast and the courtyard off the room was a wonderful addition. We will use this location when we travel to Cockeysville in the future.

A great stay in every way
My teenage daughter and I were attending a convention in the area, and we found this hotel to be a wonderful place to rest up and relax. The staff went out of their way to be helpful, everything was very clean, and the breakfast buffet was delicious. Also it was convenient to restaurants and shopping. Thank you!

Excellent room, service
Probably one of the best hotel rooms I've stayed in - excellent mattress (& enough pillows), clean, roomy. Service was great. The only downside was the quality of the breakfast buffet (how do you make bad bacon?). For the price, I really expect better, but there aren't many places nearby that serve a full breakfast.

Excellent Courtyard
The Courtyard at Hunt Valley gave us, for the second time, a great stay. If you'd like to go to Baltimore, but have no wish to stay downtown with the accrued costs of hotel parking and the traffic, this might be a great choice. The hotel is spotless and the staff very friendly; plenty of hot water and the beds and all the extra pillows are quite wonderful. I'd stay here again in an heartbeat. And as we are often in Baltimore, we will.

Shopping tip:
Short drive from hotel
The Courtyard is next to a lovely, fairly upscale strip mall with a some fairly upscale stores, including a grocery store, and several dining choices within the mall; down the road there are fast food places. The mall itself has the light rail; for a few dollars you can leave your car and ride into Baltimore.
