Not a great stay

Great location but hotel was not so great [...] we were but at the back of the hotel so one day we got to here the trash PU at 4:30 am, room was in need of repair walls needed painting remote did not work and no Ice service on any floor. Our room was to include a fee breakfast for 2 but it was limited to pre-made items only, cook to order was an additional charge

I was disappointed/BUGS in room

I stayed for 3nights everything was fine until housekeeping wasn't putting new soap into the room, wash clothes, and etc. The bed hurt my back really bad. The room was extremely modern, but I have seen better. The last day I saw BUGS in the room I was soooooo disgusted. I will never come back to this hotel.

A great experience, ideal location

Staff were knowledgable and helpful. Room design was ideal - loved the desk overlooking Arundel Mills and the countryside. Nice set-up for computer and i-pod. Easy access to restaurants in the area. One disturbing item - changes in air pressure in the hallway resulted in my door sounding like someone was entering - took me aback the first few times it happened.

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

Great local restaurant -Casa Mama Lucia- looks like a simple pizzeria but has the best Italian food I've found outside NYC. A full selection of various Italian dishes in addition to pizza and subs. Very economical

Nice but Small

Check in was uneventfull. The clerk was not friendly at all. It almost seemed like I was bothering her. She looked up at me once while talking to me and when she handed me my key she turned away and started to do something else. I asked her where were the elevators and she seemed suprised. Not a good first impression and you only get one chance to make one. The room was nice but very small. I mean small. No where to sit if you wanted to sit and watch the TV unless you sat on the bed. They had a bench but it was under the TV. I wouldn't stay at this hotel again. One more thing you have to PAY FOR BREAKFAST. No fee-bees. No continental breakfast or nothing and IT'S NOT CHEAP.

Shopping tip: Short walk from hotel

Arundel Mill Outlet Mall is about a five minute drive or if you feel like walking it's very close. Great shopping and all kinds of dining all in one area.

Average

We were given the impression that continental breakfast would be served without charge. The chain on the handle of the commode became dislodged.

Fantastic family getaway

They should have provided a free hot breakfast and not just muffins juice. The bartender was not very friendly.

"The Good and Not so Good"

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. There was a little weird smell in the air, but nothing that would stop us from coming back. The room was beautiful and for once I jumped in a pool. One negative... no vending machines for a late night snack. We we got hungry we had to travel to the main lobby and purchase snacks. The cost was crazy! $3 for a small bottle of water and $6 for a small deli style sandwich. We would come back, but bring late night snacks with us for sure!

Relax. Yes. Breakfasts was poor. I expected a continental breakfast. Rather I was offered just a few things. Customer service ( front desk) wasn't great too. But the bar was great.
