Cheap Student Traveler
Great deal on chic hotel
My husband and I chose this hotel for our anniversary getaway to Baltimore this year and got a great deal. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, with a very modern look and amenities. There are flat screen TVs in every room, and even a dock to hook up your iPod/computer to connect to the TV. The bathroom was even cool, with a large, glass-enclosed standup shower and very modern fixtures. The location seemed a bit isolated, as the area around is being built up, but it was pretty quick and easy to get to the city. In a year or so, I'm sure the area will be booming. However, everything you need is nearby with a grocery store, Starbucks, bar and restaurants pretty much in walking distance. There is actually a bar in the hotel as well, so you don't even need to leave to get a taste of the nightlife! We didn't go to the pool, but it looked absolutely stunning. The best part was the hotel was pet-friendly and even had a little bowl of dog food out front to greet puppy guests! The front desk staff (for the most part) wasn't the most enthusiastic or friendly, but they weren't really unpleasant either. However, there was one particularly friendly young man that made up for the rest. The bed left a little to be desired, as the sheets were not especially soft, nor the bed too comfortable. All in all, this was a great place to stay, was a great value, and we would definitely stay here again. I recommend it to anyone traveling to the Baltimore area.

You must, must, must have breakfast/brunch at Miss Shirley's. It's on Pratt, right by the aquarium.

Nice but Small
Check in was uneventfull. The clerk was not friendly at all. It almost seemed like I was bothering her. She looked up at me once while talking to me and when she handed me my key she turned away and started to do something else. I asked her where were the elevators and she seemed suprised. Not a good first impression and you only get one chance to make one. The room was nice but very small. I mean small. No where to sit if you wanted to sit and watch the TV unless you sat on the bed. They had a bench but it was under the TV. I wouldn't stay at this hotel again. One more thing you have to PAY FOR BREAKFAST. No fee-bees. No continental breakfast or nothing and IT'S NOT CHEAP.

Arundel Mill Outlet Mall is about a five minute drive or if you feel like walking it's very close. Great shopping and all kinds of dining all in one area.

Modern Hotel
Great staff with positive attitudes and I was greeted everytime I walked through the front door. The room was ultra modern with a nice and large flat screen TV. The room was clean and housekeeping did a great job everyday.

A nicely kept secret!
From arrival to check-out it was a smooth seamless operation. A really neat place to stay with children. All of the amenities you would want provided or available in the lobby. The staff was very helpful and friendly upon arrival. Our room was great with a very nice view. Beds were extremely comfortable and maid service was prompt and efficient. I would definitely stay there again and recommend this place to other travelers with or without children. it was my first visit to an aLoft Hotel and it won't be the last.

Directly across from Arundel Mills shopping center. You can lose yourself there for a day. There are also lots of restaurants available within a short drive.

Very cool.
My husband and I really enjoyed this hotel. Given we only stayed for one night and had to wake up around 4 to catch an early flight. We'd definitely stay there again, but next time for fun. The bar and atmosphere is fun and relaxed. It is a bit noisy downstairs, but didn't bother me at all. I think this place is best suited for couples, and not so much children since the whole downstairs turns into a party at night. Definitely something to checkout. The decor is very modern and artsy, and everything from the rooms to the service was perfect. Thanks - you guys have my business for now on.

Trendy and Nice
Very clean, nice, and trendy. Excellent location close to Baltimore airport and right next to the Arundel Mills mall and lots of restaurants.

Great Stay
