Gaithersburg Marriott Washingtonian Center

Beautiful facility, helpful staff, awesome views. Would definitely return

We called two weeks prior to our arrival day to confirm our reservations (8 days and 7 nights) and to request that we have a room with two double beds due to the fact that we had our 2 children traveling with us. The reservationist confirmed that we did have reservations and that we had two double beds. We called as we were getting close to the hotel to see if our room was ready and we were told it was ready. When we arrived there was a large group (girl's soccer team) that was checking in- none of them had reservations. First, I was upset to hear that they were making reservations for the same room that we had at a lower rate and then when it was my turn to check in they had given all of the rooms to them that had two double beds. When I spoke with one manager there was nothing he could do- even though we had reservations and I had called in advance to confirm everything. Finally another manager came to us with a solution- she put us in a room with a kingbed for one night and then moved us the following day to a 2-double bed room. It was very inconvenient, but it all worked out in the end. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was good. It was convenient to the metro which was great! There were great restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Plenty of parking and beautiful setting. The kids enjoyed the indoor pool,although, the lifegaurd pouring a bag of shock in the pool while there were people swimming wasn't great.

Location is great. I went to the Hotel to experience Marriott and was not disappointed. My things are custormer service, the comfort of the room, and the amenities. Customer service was ok, room was excellent and amenities were ok(no fridge or micro in the room). But I liked the experience

This was my first time staying at this hotel. The hotel staff was very friendly, check-in was very fast and efficient the king size bed was nice, but the pillows were a little uncomfortable. Over all this hotel was a good bargain for the money, i would stay here again.

The Gaithersburg Marriott Washingtonian Center was an idea hotel for short term business travel. Check in was fast and efficent. Would have prefered free wireless but the hook up in the room was easy to obtain, and the signal did not fade in and out. The room was sufficient in size, the beds were comfortable and the room was quiet. I left the hotel on the day of the first snow storm of the year, the staff offered alternative directions to my destination to avoid the traffic back-up and extended the check out time for those in-need. Would definately stay there again. Texas....

We checked into the hotel past midnight and on the way there, we got lost. I called the hotel in hopes that they could help me find my way to them, and the front desk was incredibly helpful, even staying on the phone with me until I was pulling into the parking lot. The rooms were extremely clean and the beds so incredibly comfortable that I didn't want to get up in the morning; no complaints at all!

We were very pleased with the whole experience at the Marriott Gaithersburg Washingtonian Center. From the moment we checked in, to the moment we checked out, we felt that the staff wanted to make our stay enjoyable. Our room was large and very clean. The bed (we had a King) was extremely comfortable. We ate breakfast in the hotel on Sunday and got the buffet. It was outstanding--fresh fruits, fresh breads, omelets cooked to order, great orange juice, and more. In the evenings, we only had to walk a short distance to fine our choice of great restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitly come back!
