Nice place for the Price

The hotel was clean and nice. The one man working in the evening wasnt the friendliest but overall i have no complaints. The free breakfast was nothing amazing but rememeber it is free and it was basically what any other hotel offers.

Unbeatable location for the price.

Very convenient and close to the highway. The outer appearance was not much to look at however the interiors and the room were very nice. It was a little dusty due to construction and staff could have been a little friendlier. On a scale from 1- 10, I give it a 7.

Comfotable restful and clean for a price

This Travelodge was very good for the money. The friendliness of the morning clerk made up for the unfriendliness of the evening clerk.

Not your avg. travelodge

I was taken back from the less then welcoming lobby/front desk. The check in reminded me of my family vacations as a kid, a bit dated. The room was comfortable and clean and the Wifi brought me back to the 21 century.

Oh Dear

Sorry, but I guess the Travelodge @ Frederick was probably the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The building itself is dark and depressing - the outside has no facilities at all, no garden, pool, relaxation area - it's at the back of a CostCo, so very noisy. We had a working weekend and came home very tired after 3 broken nights' sleep. Sorry, but if I had to stay there again, I would expect to be paid :(

no frills, good value

The Frederick Md. Travelodge is low on frills and amenities, and the teddy bear motif on bedspreads, draperies, and lampshades a bit humorous, but the property was well maintained, the rooms clean, and the beds comfortable. Check in was quick and painless. The hotel was well-located for our purposes, and the price was right. Overall, a good experience. Our room included a mini-fridge, microwave, and mini coffee maker (coffee wasn't too tasty).

bring your own bedding...

The location of the room was noisy-near the check-in desk in the lobby. The room was small but the bathroom was clean-there was a long black hair on one of the towels though. The bedspread and blankets were pilled and faded-the sheets had spots on them and the pillows were like rocks. All in all, an uncomfortable sleeping (?) experience. The location of the hotel was convenient to our destination and the TV reception was good. Not staying there again.
