Holiday Inn Express FREDERICK-FSK MALL(I270/RT 85)

I was there for my wedding. My wedding night was horrible. We were kept up all night from someone stomping and running on the floor above us. When we called the front desk to complain they did not do anything to fix the issue. So we were up all night and not for a good reason. Also, the bathroom had a black mold like stuff all over the ceiling and upper walls and the room and bathroom were really dark. The staff was over all very nice though.

My husband and I only stayed overnight at this hotel but it was overall a great experience. Check in was fast and easy and so was check out. I also loved the fact they had hot tea and coffee at the door and in your room (it was fairly cold when we went). The beds are so comfy, we took a nap around 6 pm and ended up sleeping until 10pm. The best nap ever! It is walking distance from the mall and plenty of restaurants in case you don't drive. The only bad thing that happened to us there was when we were packing our stuff up to leave we found dirty underwear under the bed. EWWWW

Hotel was a place to stay. Room clean and nice, but hallways in need of major upgrade. Okay place with no amenities, but a great staff. Value for the price is very low. Not what you expect from a Holiday Inn Express franchise.

Location is great, but the rooms are very small. There's not even an elevator - it felt like HI bought a small, cheap hotel and tried to fix it up. There's a Hampton Inn and a Hilton Garden Inn a few blocks away - go there unless you really need to save a few bucks.

The bedding and bathroom were clean,the rug was dirty and needed cleaning. Also there are no elevators. I wish I had know that at the time of booking as we were given a 2nd floor room and my husband recently had surgery.

Holiday Inn Express was easy access and easy check in. Really had no complaints, as it fit the bill for what i needed, but was nothing special either.

A bit of a stale smell in the hallway, but the room was very clean. Other travelers tended to stand in parking lot talking and laughing loudly which disturbed us, but better than fighting! I do wish there had been a microwave, considering the price of the room! We were in Frederick MD for a wedding and another guest at the reception told us she had paid only $29.00 for her room @ Holiday Inn (not the H I Express) just a block or so away due to a cancellation!! Also had friends staying @ Days Inn for much less and they had a pool!!. When we go back to Frederick we will be checking into a less expensive hotel with more amenities. Cost is extremely important when comparing hotels.

The hotel was well located near Historic Downtown Frederick MD, the stadium, and Francis Scott Key Mall. The hotel was clean and the rooms were large. The only complaint we had was that the bedding was rock hard and the pillows were flat.

The Staff was nice and informative, the hallways could use a good steam cleaning but overall the room was good for the price. And I also liked booking a car and the hotel at the same time, that is something I will do again. Thank you for your service.

Close to several nice restaurants, across the street from mall.
