Econo Lodge Frederick

We only stayed in the room for 30 minutes.The hotel room was dirty and when we turned the light on in the bathroom a couple of roaches ran for cover. When I went to the front desk to complain, the clerk did not even act surprised! I would not recommend this motel to anyone

We were arriving late. It was the reason I picked this location. Room rate being what it was I didn't expect anything more than a highway hotel, a place to lay down my head and take a warm shower in the morning before traveling on. Unfortunately I was greeted with far worse. Damp rooms, mildew, suspicious mold spores in around and on everything. Nothing dusted, actually there was filth on top of everything and under most anything else. Toilet, bathtub in very poor condition and not cleaned from previous guest. Shortly after pulling our luggage into the room and looking up another option on our phones (the wifi wasnt working) , someone tried to pound open our door. Traveling alone as a single parent, I tried to console my child that we were safe and it was just someone with perhaps a little too much party in them being silly. There were people sitting out on cars and others that kept trying to open doors (including ours) all night long. I sat up until 4am. The staff had difficulty in understanding concerns or responding to them. In fact because the address is not correct I had to originally call to get directions and was told to go to a gas station.

Our experience was ok. It was fine for a place to sleep, we weren't there very much during the day time, we were with family. At night, it was a little rough, people leave and come at different times and we were woken up both nights.

It wasnt horrid, but it wasnt somewhere I would stay again. The rooms were clean for the most part and the staff was nice enough.

It was fine for what I needed--not upscale at all---but fine none the less

When we pulled back the covers on the bed, there were a number of little brown ants running around on it.

The motel was old and unkept, the dresser draw fronts were falling off, the TV had very bad reception. The front door had an opening around it large enough for mice to crawl through. The room felt damp. I would not recommend this motel to anyone.

Adequate. We were looking for a place to stay less than an hour out of DC and the Econo Lodge in Fredrick fit the bill. Staff was friendly. Rooms were adequate -- nothing flash but adequate value for money. Fellow travellers met in the parking lot were friendly. No issues. Would stay again given similar circumstances.

Was satisfactory for our needs. We wanted something not too expensive for just one night. Location was very convenient.
