Absolutely No Frills, Great Price

Easy on, easy off from the highway. Bad part was thin walls...late at night there were people taking in the parking lot and doors opening & closing (all rooms are streel-level adjacent to parking lot). Didn't find any HBO as listed. No TV channel listing, no phone, no clock, no pen. Posted breakfast 6:00-9:00 a.m. I didn't see any from lobby, and since they only had regular coffee (no decaf) didn't stay for breakfast. Staff doesn't offer any information; you have to ask. Stay here only if you're looking for a cheap bed & bathroom.

Time-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

Nice location within walking distance to a gas station/mini mart, a Waffle House restaurant, and a KFC/Taco Bell. Across the highway from a McDonalds.

This motel is a dump.

The place is rundown and the room was dirty. The furniture was broken and worn out. There were dead bugs in the corners and on the shelf above the hangers. The bathroom fixtures were hanging away from the wall. The bedspreads had cigarette holes in them (in a nonsmoking room) and stains. The room was disgusting but since we needed a place to stay in the area during a busy weekend we didn't stayed two nights. The breakfast consisted of grocery store bagged miniature donuts, bananas and mini muffins.

Avoid this motel

My trip was to visit family who live nearby. Because there was a NASCAR event at Dover Raceway, I was forced to book at this hotel because the other more upscale motels were full. The first turnoff was at check-in where I was required to furnish my driver's license so that they could make a copy despite the fact that it showed my SSN. There was an unexceptional free breakfast but no other amenities that I could see. All room doors open to an outside sidewalk. You must negotiate a six?inch step up to enter the door, and there are no warning signs. Of course I landed on my two knees and my nose when I entered the room for the first time. The bed sheets were too small for the mattress so I would find myself on the bare mattress in the middle of the night.

There are a number of mom & pop restaurants in the area with good food as well as the usual chain and fast-food outlets.
