Elk Forge is a beautiful stone manor house built c.1760 nestled on 5 acres of wood and gardens along banks of the Big Elk Creek. We are located between Elkton, Maryland and Newark, Delaware in the serene village of Elk Mills. The area is rich with history and natural beauty and is less than three miles from I-95, twenty minutes to Wilmington Delaware. We are half-way between NYC and DC. We love to have meetings, weddings and receptions here. The property is extremely versatile and would be able to accomodate any other event type you can think of. Check-in is at 4 00 PM. Guests planning to arrive before or after this time must contact the property at least 48 hours prior to arrival to receive special check-in instructions. As a bed and breakfast property, the Front Desk hours will vary guests should contact the property to find out more information.
