Truly the "heart" of Easton

This was my first time at the Tidewater and I enjoyed it immensely. The staff was friendly and helpful, from giving me directions to restaurants and stores, to making suggestions for shopping I had not considered. I'd go back in a hearbeat.

Most of the stores are closed on Sunday (in winter), so plan to do your shopping on Saturday.

Lovely Quick Stay

We had a quick two night stay that was lovely. The beds were really comfortable, and the hotel was charming--as was the town of Easton. I have a few criticisms: 1-they say they have a fitness center but in actuality it is access to the local YMCA. The Y was gorgeous (completely state of the art equipment), but it was not actually in the hotel. 2-They do allow pets, but there is a $30 fee. This was not explained upfont. 3-There was a complimentary breakfast, but it was all breads and sugary yogurts. It would be nice to have some protein--cheese?, hard boiled eggs at least? Other than that, we had a really pleasant stay, and will be back if we ever find ourselves in Easton again.

Pet Friendly Charm

The staff was extremely helpful with my desire to find specific types of stores. Although preparing for a wedding at the hotel the night of our check in, the staff gave us warm friendly information each time we asked. My husband found the small size of the bathroom "delightful" as everything was within reach. We will return and take advantage of lounging in the terry cloth robes another day.

There is an excellent ACME less than 5 minutes away with very friendly staff, and gourmet items.

Wonderful Historic Hotel

Very Friendly service. No pool even though it was listed as having one. It did at one time but it was removed and the information never updated. Rooms very small and we were right across from the elevator so a little noisy. However, the staff nade up for the small inconveniences. The food at their restaurant was outstanding and the continental breakfast was like no other!

Most small shops are within walking distance. The shops are unique and interesting. Within 10 miles are more shops and dining on the water.

Beautiful, historic inn

The hotel was beautiful and retained its historic elements. Although called an inn, you have the privacy of a hotel. The rooms were comfortable, though small. The bed was especially comfortable, but the bathrooms are small and lacking basic amenities. The inn is located in the middle of historic Easton and offers wonderful dining options and a bar.

Entertainment tip: Short walk from hotel

The Historic Tidewater Inn is located walking distance from anything in downtown Easton (dining, shopping, etc.). St. Michael's is a short drive, and right on the water.
