Murder Mystery get away weekend
The hotel rooms were cozy but yet upscale. It was close to the train station and we were able to do some walking and site seeing close by. The staff was very outgoing and very helpful to us. We would of liked to see some light snacks on the weekend also....like coffee and maybe some cookies...after being in the pool area and gym....that would of being the topping on the cake !! But all in all we really enjoyed our stay and plan to visit again.

The area around the hotel and also the train station were very nice. We could explore the vistors center, train information ( in & out ) of the station area...but its a nice area to just walk and chill down !

Would NOT Recommend!!!!
We traveled 7 hours so when we got to the hotel we were ready to get to our room. First the lobby was so loud when we got there at 12:00 a.m that I couldn't hardly hear the guy to check in. Then he tells me that my credit card didn't go there when I know they took it our 3 weeks before our trip. He finally calls the manager to get it straighten out. He asked me for my credit card again to hold on file. I asked the guy if there was any money that will be taken out when he swipes my card he said no. We get to our room and I check my account to find $20 pending on my account. I called down to the front desk and he just tells me to refer to the sign on the desk!!! He couldn't have just told me that when I was down there to begin with. Both of our TV's were not hooked up and even the ipod sound system didn't work either. For the amount of money that I paid for this room I expected better. And I wanted a easy check in and out because of the distance we were traveling. The hotel barely had enough parking spaces for us too. We had to park in the back beside the dumpster. Not happy with the communication and the room at this hotel!!!

Fairfield Inn, Cumberland, Md
I have stayed at the new Fairfield Inn three times. I love this hotel. The staff is very friendly, helpful and upbeat. Everything I asked for in the way of suggestions, restaurants, computer assistance and food was provided. I have stayed at other hotels in the area and none compare to the hospitality and comfort. I highly recommend this hotel when you are planning a trip through western Maryland.

Beautiful Place
I arrived late in the evening and was greeted immediately and checked in. The room was beautiful bight and cheery. Everything was in order. Free wireless worked on the first try, the king size bed was comfortable and the bathroom had lots of towels. The air conditioner was efficient and only came on as needed, not running continuously. I enjoyed the fresh color pallet of the entire hotel. Breakfast was available with eggs waffles, hot and cold cereal and fruit....I would stay again!

Hospitality at its best
From check-in to check-out the service was excellent. I have traveled throughout my lifetime and by far this was the best experience. The only suggestion I could make was that the room needed a refrigerator and a desk lamp. I use a handicapped room and the bathroom was outstanding. The side chair in the room could have been a little more generous in size but overall the room decor was delightful.

Short drive from hotel
There were many restaurants to choose from in the nearby vacinity. Our first choice was totally booked due to Prom Night. Our second choice was OK but not the best in terms of service nor food.
