The Super 8 in College Park, MD is a great location for traveling on business or pleasure. We are centrally located just off I-495 and less then 2 Miles from the University of Maryland. and less then 16 Miles to Washington DC. After a great night sleep in one of our comfortable rooms we invite you to join us for a Free Superstart Breakfast and you can access Free High Speed Internet Access from anywhere at the property. Some of our other amenities include AM-FM Alarm Clocks, Hairdryers, 25in TV with over 50 Cable channels to choose from including CNN, ESPN and HBO. Just ask at the Front Desk if you need a microwave, refrigerator, or iron and board.

Just what I wanted !

I was on a tight budget already for graduation and haveing out of town guest. The hotel location,price and nice service made my out of towners feel really homey and apart of thier family as well as mine.

No Bathroom lock

This hotel doesn't have a lock inside the bathroom, which is insane. The lady in the front desk should learn the basic mannerism to speak to their customers. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Smell in the room

Although I reserved a non-smoking room, it still had badly smelling. I reserved two rooms and the other is fine. Location is good.

Stay over to attend a funeral

The staff was friendly and very helpful, the mattresses were quite hard and uncomfortable. The picture did not give a true depiction of the neighborhood in which the hotel is located. I would not choose that particular hotel again.

Squalid

Unhelpful staff. Grungy room, smelly towels. A single large hair of what appeared to be a non-cranial variety left on the bathroom sink. More than one of the room furniture/appointments, such as a small chair, were damaged in such a manner as to diminish functionality. I turned the heat up and slept in my jeans to minimize contact with the bed cloths. The location is what I needed it to be, but it's no treat. I've had better rooms for half the price in more pleasant places. I was alone, but I'd hate to have family or friends involved in staying at this hotel. It would be embarrassing. On the plus side, the TV had many channels and there were coffee packets provided.
