Quality Inn & Suites

this was my second trip in college park and in the hotel as promised. I had times to visit the University of Maryland and the area around. I really happy about my trip and I definitely will recommend the hotel to my friends.

The best thing I can say about this hotel is that it has a good location, if you have business at the University of Maryland, College Park. It is right next to the campus. Other than that, there is little to recommend this hotel. The promised Internet access did not work, the walls are paper thin, and the rooms ordinary. To make matters worse if there is a football game going on, the hotels parking lot becomes tailgate central the night before and after, so you won't get any sleep. The management doesn't care and ignores the tumult. Overall you can probably do better elsewhere, there are many hotels in the area.

I like the security system, pass code protected. I did not have time to go around and visit special places, but I will come back and will spend more time. I appreciate the calmness of the hotel area although being located near a busy traffic road. I am suggested that the hotel room has refrigerator to limit the guest dependency on hotel staff and for a sense of kind of privacy.

was terrible as the hallways had wet ceilings, water everywhere in the halls.Coul not stay their and did not as I checked into another hotel.

With the green line metro only 1/2 mile away, it was easy to commute to the city and not hassle with the parking in town. Unfortunately, I was there when the outside temp was 99+ and the shuttle had stopped service before I had departed. A couple of the younger counter staff could use some "smiling" lessons. Came across as unfriendly and "standoffish".

It was a good choice for me. I wanted a close place to get me to and from the archives easily. It was! I wanted a quiet place to take a good rest after work. It was! If you want to eat cheap, you can also walk to the nearby malls and restaurants.

My trip was for one night. The location of the hotel was excellent and everything was close to DC. Many places to go to for food, etc. The room was clean, but I did find a roach body under the bed. The AC unit was very noisy throughout the night. Internet was slow! The rates were good. I didn't check out the pool or gym, but at least knew they were available to me. My overall stay was a 4 out of 5. Would stay there again.

Well after a Long Night of traveling and checking into the hotel, the front dest clerk is on her cell while I wait to be assisted, after recieving the key to my room which did not work after trying to open the door then having to wait for an attendant to bring a new Key after So many mins of waiting, The equipment in the gym is so old and some dont work at all I guess having Gym mentioned on their website is ok enough even if the equipment is old not up to standards. I dont complain that much about Hotels that often but this was just that day I would say...
