Not bad, but not great either
For the >$120 price I paid, I think the value of this hotel is decent, but not great. Won't mind to stay there again, but I prefer the near by Greenbelt Holiday Inn.

The room was fine, clean with the necessary items. Had microwave and refrig without asking for them. A/C - heat unit blowed loadly but worked fine. Windows don't open, which is a con for me. But all in all a clean good room

I thought the building was on fire
We arrived literally minutes before a really awful storm. Tornadoes and such. So as soon as we got to our room, the power and phone went out. I totally understand that things like this just happen. My husband went down to let them know, And while he was away, the fire alarm went off with a recording urging everyone that it was not a drill and to exit the building. We left because I didn't want to take chances, but it turned out to be a false alarm and they just didn't turn the alarm of for hours! And none of the staff could tell us anything. It was kind of annoying.

i booked 2 nonsmoking rooms, and was given 2 smoking rooms in what appeared to be a basement. Luckily my wife was not with me, she never would have put up with the smell and level of cleanliness..

Convenient, clean and friendly
Great location right off I-495 and Route 1 makes this hotel very convenient for travelers to the Capital area. Indoor pool and free parking are great benefits and the Route 1 corridor offers a number of dining options.

good value, close to umd
we were there overnight for my son to compete in a gymnastics meet at umd early on a saturday morning. breakfast buffet worked well to eat and run at around 7:00am this was our second year at this venue and at this hotel as well
