A Dump !
I reserved a non smoking room. The door had a sign on it saying that it was a non-smoking room but it STUNK from smoke. I went to other rooms to try to find a "real " non-smoking room but they were all the same. I had already paid for the room on line so they had my money and it was late or I would have left to fine another place.

The good, the bad , the ugly!
"The good":the room was clean, even though the rugs were a little stained. "The bad": the room was very average and it is probably not good for allergy sufferers (mine were triggered). "The ugly": advertised that it had a shuttle to the Metro and in reality it was just the "local Metro bus." The Pool advertised belonged to the Ramada Inn next door. The "BIG UGLY" was when went to visit our cousin and stayed over his house for a night. We were checked out of our room, which was paid in advanced for four nights. It took about half an hour to get checked in again.

Fantastic place
My stay was fantastic. There was several things to do while i was there. The diner across the street is awesome if you want some late night food. Employees were respectful and able to help whenever i had a question or concern.

Days Inn = bad day
Hotel was dirty and very run down. I stayed at this same Days Inn 7-8 years ago but I don't remember it being in such rough shape.

Not bad for the price
Our stay was just fine. The continental breakfast was very good and much appreciated with the budget we were on. The day manager was very pleasant and helpful. Room was clean but the pool is only open 2-8. Metro station is only 2 miles away. TIP get a smarttrip card. That's the only way you can pay for parking at the metro station. Sat and Sun parking is free at the station. Free Internet worked fine and was used often.

2 out of 3 nights were o.k. The third night Adjacent room brought in friends and partied all night. Calls to the front desk at 2:17a.m. 2:40 a.m., 3:15 a.m. had no result. I finally left the hotel at 5:30 a.m. to drive 7 hrs. home. The room had been sprayed with excessive perfumed air freshner in a effort to cover up smells. If I had not booked the hotel thru a 3rd party and fully paid, I would have left the first day.
