Comfort Inn & Suites Near Univ. of Maryland

Stayed here for a rally over the weekend. The price was reasonable, and the location looked like it was close to a metro station. Shuttle service was indicated as available, but was told that it only ran in the afternoon on Sundays. The shuttle was used on Saturday to get to the metro station without a problem. Decided to walk back from the metro station to the hotel, which wasn't too bad (a bit less than 3 miles). Food within walking distance of the hotel was pretty limited. Overall, a reasonable experience at a good price.

The room was clean an quiet. The staff immediately fixed a slow drain in the shower with no questions. The room had a safe built in the floor which made us feel safe when we left the room because we could lock up our valuables. The combination was whatever you wanted to set each time. Very smart!! We stayed for 8 nights and we were very happy and treated very well. Had a little problem with CNBC on the TV coming in clear. They really didn't and probably couldn't do much about it but it was like that the entire stay. Too bad, because that is my favorite station!!

Overall, we were pleased with our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the shuttle was convenient. The only thing was the condition of the bathroom (specifically the door) was not the best. Overall, would recommend.

Comfortable bed. Not many channels on TV, but not a problem since I was out all the time. Continental breakfast had waffles! However, the kitchen had a bit of an ant issue.

The hotel is relatively close to College Park and the U of Maryland campus. You can reach them in 20 min by walk along Baltimore Ave. It's better to have a car or to use the shuttle bus; unfortunately it's not available all the time. Room was clean and relatively large. Bathroom was clean. Good buffet breakfast.

The hotel was just not impressive and not very clean. It was dated and not super clean. There was a lingering smoke smell in our room and the coffee pot was broken. We had to ask for a clean blanket because ours had hair on it.

This hotel deserves far more than the 3.3 traveler rating it has gotten previously. The front desk staff were very polite, the room was clean and, though not large, was well made up and certainly of sufficient size. The continental breakfast is equal to what is being served at other better grade motel chains.

Comfortable rooms, close to UofM campus.

I find it hard to believe that this motel got a 5 out of 5 rating. The staff was helpful, but the room was not too clean and it was quite small. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. I found an ant crawling on the counter at breakfast. I used the bahtroom on the 2nd floor and the whole area was pretty shabby, although the bathroom facility was clean. I stayed at the Marriott Baltimore Waterfront, through another online discount website, and for $85.00 a night, received a suite which was georgous. I did not expect anything like a suite at the Comfort Inn, however, for almost $20.00 dollars more a night I feel I was robbed with the type of room they offer.

This was my third visit to the Hotel and I will stay there again. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel was clean,although I felt that my room could have been cleaner.The location was close enough to where we wanted to be. I thought that the gentleman who checked us in was very gracious and actually appreciated our patronage. The whole staff seemed happy to have you as their guests. They have complimentary breakfast.
