Holiday Inn Express WASHINGTON DC EAST-ANDREWS AFB

The Hotel Is Very Nice, Lovely Staff.. But for the price I was hoping for a larger room..

Everything was nice and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Hotel is covenient for business travel and the amenity is enough for me to do emergent work. but It is far from metro station, so when it is dark, it is so scare to walk from station. If someone have a car, This hotel is good.

Experience was satisfactory. I was in between business trips and stayed to do some sightseeing in DC. Fairly easy access to metro. They have a shuttle, but most of the time I just walked. It was about a 25 minute ride into the Mall.

This hotel was a nice home away from home and a pleasure to come into. The staff are courteous and helpful. The beds are comfy. We had a non smoking room and it was perfect. Breakfast every morning was the same and I missed being offered bacon. But sausage and eggs along with the usual coffees, juices, cereals, yogurts and breads were OK. The shuttle was there immediately every time we needed it and picked us up in a timely manner each time we called from the metro.

The hotel was very attractive until the last day when I discovered an unwelcome 6-legged companion in my bathroom. I reported the problem immediately to management, who appeared to be very disturbed but extremely polite and supportive. They arranged for extermination for the very next day. I know that these are common and have been around since dinosaurs, but I did not want to share my room with them. Ever. The only reason that I stayed was because it was the last night of my trip and I did not want to relocate to another place -- which most likely would have the same problem. Also, there is no consistency between room as far as comm amenities -- the first room that I was in had all of the power outlets needed and easy access to internet cable OR wireless. The second room, that I was in for about 15 minutes, had NO power access at the desk and no lamp (which usually has a spare power outlet), the third room only had one power outlet on the lamp and no other spare, but the internet access was OK. Poor quality control in the renovation.

I had 4 business meetings- one in DC by the Smithsonian, Anacostia Naval Station, Alexandria and Chrystal City, From Hotel to any of these destinations 20-25 minutes. Right on the beltway, but no problems with noise. Free in room wireless, good breakfast, average size room, nice bed. If I had to find something to complain about, I would mention that you must get in a car to get to any food, but kind of knew that going in.

The staff was very friendly, helpful and attentive and the room was well appointed and clean. A nice place to stay and at an excellent price. The only unfortunate aspect is the location, but parking is plantiful and it's possible o walk to the Metro.

Very helpful staff and very convenient. It was only a 4 block walk to the Metro station. We even walked back right at dusk and felt safe. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. One elevator did not work during our stay, but it didn't cause any headaches. Great value!!!!!

This was a pleasantly surprising trip, The room was clean,what we asked for, and the staff was friendly. The location was easy to find. After previous stays in the D.C. area, I can honestly say that I wouldn't be afraid to be out after dark. Nice trip!
