All American Inn
Clean, quiet, if somewhat older hotel. Friendly staff. Rooms small but have all the necessary features. Internet not that fast. Modest but adequate continental breakfast. In all a good value.

Just Fine
Room was fine. Comfortable beds. Nice new flat screen tv. Delicious breakfast. Helpful staff. Metro was a long walk away and seedy characters hanging around outside.

Good value!
Considering the price tag, American Inn is a great place to stay - a clean room with a fridge, although a computer in the business area was slow (but free!). The staff was also nice. If you have a car or are happy to use metro, you can save a lot of money by staying at American Inn instead of staying at one of expensive hotels in DC.

If you want to go to Georgetown area, the hotel is very convenient. Just drive down the Wisconsin Avenue!

Trip to DC
Hotel was fine. There is limited parking, but I did manage to get a space. Hotel staff was very nice and helpful. Limited pool hours. Metro is a few blocks away. Two things I would have done differently. First was our room was near a security door. Everytime someone came in or out, it slammed shut and we could hear it in our room. Secondly, we had used our own laptop and used the wifi in the hotel. My e-mail address book was hacked into and everyone in my address book was sent e-mails for Viagra and other prescriptions.

Couple
Good price but old room and smell bad
Drove 13 hrs and stayed this motel one night rest before more to go other state. It included breakfast, it was dirt so we went to McDonald.

We also stayed here because we could walk down the street to all the restaurants. Had a great meal at Cesa Italian restaurant.

Happy biker.
Not bad for the price.
The bed could have been bigger. It was supposed to be a queen size but it was really a full size. Other than that the room was nice and clean. The hotel smelled nice and was well maintained. It also could use a microwave in the room. Also the hotel is friendly to motorcyclists.

There is a 24 hour restaurant within two blocks of the hotel for travelers who arrive late like myself and are looking for something to eat at that time.
