Sheraton Washington North Hotel

The room was very nice and roomy. Nice desk, comfortable beds, big TV, nice clean bathroom. Good for our stay to visit DC. We stayed Friday and Saturday nights. The first night was very calm and peaceful, hardly anyone in the hotel. However on Saturday night, our floor had a ton of high school or college kids. There must have been a dance or something. They were obnoxiously loud and drunk at 2am, left their food/trash in the hallway, and can be heard even in our own room. At 7am Sunday morning, our next door neighbor started screaming some song at 7am, it must have been a religious ritual or something. We had walked all day Friday and Saturday and just wanted to rest, but had horrible neighbors.

I wish there was a small microwave and small refrigerator. I was there for several days and it would have made it alot easier on me. Also the hotel has no vending machines even though they have signs that say vending machines there are none that I saw.

I visited my friend at the north of DC, the location is good, near the I-95. Bed is great, the water of shower is enough strong. but I did not like the water for drink.

Clean hotel with a great room, convenient parking, about 6 miles from University of Maryland campus, easy to get around.

I thought the hotel met my needs and very much appreciated the free shuttle to the Archives and the Metro. The food was OK but the morning buffet could have been a little more varied. The bed was a little lumpy and why nickel and dime us with the internet service? Ten books a day! In any event, the staff was quite considerate.

The only shortcoming I found with the Sheraton Washington North was the lack of free internet access in the rooms. I had to use the lobby computers to have free access to the internet - this is very unusual and a nusisance.

The hotel was very nice and convenient to/from location to the metro station. Being 30 minutes away from DC (using the metro) added a little inconvenience to our trip, but the rooms and hotel service where superb.... Our family had a great time in DC and everyone should experience at least once in a life time.

It was a great experience!! Kinda far from a lot of stuff but I managed!! Great staff very friendly!!

I was happy with the room I got for my deal. It was clean and the bed was big and comfortable. I found that you had to drive a bit away to find a good restaurant to eat and the onsite restaurant had decent food but a bit pricey. Overall, a great hotel to go to if you like peace and quiet.

We stayed at this location because of the great air fare/hotel pricing combination. The hotel offers a free shuttle service to and from the Greenbelt Metro Station. You just book the time you want to go and be picked up and it was very easy. We did all the sightseeing by walking and using the Metro....very easy to do. The hotel was renovated about a year ago and it was extremely nice in the rooms with flat screen TV, hair dryers, Ironing board, including shampoo, conditioner, lotion and in room coffee pot. There was no coffee or condiments for it but I asked at the desk and was given a supply and then it was stocked the rest of the week. Stayed one week and slept well every single night. Thermostats in room kept temp pleasant and I didn't have to adjust it one time while there. Had plenty of hot water and was quick to heat up. The only downside I didn't care for was the $10/day charge for internet service if you wanted to use it in your room; otherwise they offered free computers in the lobby or you could plug into your own computer and use it for free in the lobby; no wireless connections. Additional drawback is no decent places to eat in this area except restaurant at the hotel. These two things keep it from being a 5 star hotel for me but are minor and I would definitely stay here again.
