Freshly remodeled digs between Camden Yards and Inner Harbor
Those coming to town for a baseball game, business or both cannot go wrong with the Sheraton Inner Harbor Hotel. Located just west of the waterfront, the 337-room retreat is an easy stroll from Oriole Park at Camden Yards and even closer to the Baltimore Convention Center: Just head to the second floor and follow the skywalk. The accommodations feel fresh and up to date (all guest rooms were recently renovated) and on-site perks include a heated indoor wading pool and two restaurants: The Orioles Grille and Morton's The Steak House.
Highlights
- Prime downtown location, a short walk from both Inner Harbor and Camden Yards
- Connected to the Baltimore Convention Center via skywalk
- Newly renovated guest rooms
- Indoor wading pool
Rooms
All 337 guest rooms of the Sheraton Inner Harbor Hotel have been renovated to modern standards -- think pillow-top mattresses, flat-screen TVs, oversized work desks -- and guests access high-speed Internet for a fee. Sheraton Club rooms grant passage to the Club Lounge, a relaxed yet upscale setting for eating (complimentary breakfast and evening hors d'oeuvres are served), working or just unwinding in front of the 42-inch TV.
Features
The Sheraton Inner Harbor Hotel has a 24-hour fitness center with cardio and strength training equipment. Guests also use the on-site wading pool (indoors and heated) and sauna.
Business travelers appreciate Link@Sheraton, the lobby's computer hub. Guests use the computers for free and enjoy complimentary printing as well.
There are two restaurants at the Sheraton Inner Harbor Hotel. The Orioles Grille serves American-style breakfast, lunch and dinner in casual setting that is brimming with baseball memorabilia. Morton's The Steak House is a dinner-only affair.

Nightmare at the Inner Harbor
Was there for an early morning doctor's appmt at Johns Hopkins Monday 2/6. Traveled some distance to be nearby and refreshed for a potentially serious medical concern Monday morning. My room had: no hot water, no heat, a broken coffee maker, a broken headboard, an open ironing board in the room, no "do not disturb" sign, no guest booklet listing hotel amenities, no tv channel guide. Hot water fixed about 630am Monday 2/6, so I could take a shower. Reported the heat but did not ask for anyone to come up the evening of 2/5 as it was late when I realized there was no heat, so I just buried myself under all the covers I could find. Staff was friendly but inept. The front desk clerk (when I reported all this 2/6 said there was no mgr on duty) took off the $25 self-parking charge. Was charged $3 for a cup of coffee in the 2nd floor lobby/loiunge area (broken escalator) and was told the "free coffee" was in the room. Of course my coffee maker was broken. When I said my coffee maker didn't work, I could tell a refund of the $3 would take an act of God for which i did not have the time before going to the doctor. All in all a horrible experience. I'd have been more relaxed had I left from home about 4am to go to the doctor rather than stay at this diasater. On the positive side, my Greek salad in the lounge 2/5 was very good. Walter Woodson

Nice hotel for a reasonable price.
This hotel is located right behind the Hyatt Regency and within walking distance of all the Inner Harbor attractions. I booked the room for a reasonable price and I was quite happy with it - it was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again the next time I visit Inner Harbor. The next time I may eat at Morgan's Steak House, which is conveniently located in the hotel.

Dining tip:
Short drive from hotel
While in Baltimore, we took the Water Taxi over to Fells Point and walked to Obrycki's Crab House. Although the restaurant itself was great, I wouldn't recommend walking there from the dock. Our walk took us through a bad area. In fact, we decided to call a taxi after dinner for our trip back to the dock. In general, though, the Fells Point area is very nice as long as you stay in the first couple blocks where the majority of the restaurants are located.

Everything was nice except for the plumbing that was possessed. At night you could hear loud "thump-thump-thumps" coming from the sink periodically and having a duration of about 30 seconds. The next night we filled up the sink with the plug and water and slept like a baby because there was no noise. We also did not need to leave until 3, with a noon checkout, so we had to check our luggage. It would have been nice to have a 3:00 check out so that we could change into something a little more comfortable for the flight. GREAT LOCATION for anything in the Inner Harbor area and everything else was top notch.

Nice facilities, great location!
Most of my time was spent in business meetings, so I didn't get time to fully enjoy the hotel amenities and surrounding area.

Poor Service from the Sheraton
Experience very poor. We reserved a room with a King bed. The Sheraton was overbooked. We were given a double bed that was a fold down cot unit from the wall. Staff was not helpful. Rude.

Halfway decent
The Large bed was hard, but the pillows were ultra soft. The setup of the room was akward. The floor's ice machine broke on Thursday, and was shut down on Friday after it had been spilling water out to the hallway. The soda machine on the floor works, but only if you had change as the bill accepter was broken. There was no interaction between hotel staff and patrons unless started by the patrons. At one point, two staff members stood four feet away as I fought with the keycard to enter the building by the skybridge. Finally I just tryed all the doors until one opened. One of the staff says "You should have just tryed that door...it doesn't lock."
