A perfect staging ground for business affairs, college visits and more
It's no wonder the 283-room Sheraton Baltimore North Hotel draws a sizeable business and academic crowd. Several corporate offices, colleges and universities lie within a five-mile radius of its polished -- and recently renovated -- rooms. Another location plus: Towson Town Center. The high-end shopping mall stands a mere 100 feet away and can be accessed directly from the hotel via a skywalk. The hotel itself boasts a few perks of its own -- namely, free parking, free Wi-Fi and an indoor heated pool with a Jacuzzi to boot.

Nice location, clean hotel
My wife and I stayed here on a family trip. We had a corner room that was large and comfortable. The staff was friendly. The location, adjoining Goucher Coll. and the mall, plus proximity to the loop, is great. On an earlier trip, I had to work. Then, I found the wireless Internet connection to be virtually worthless. I had to go to Starbucks to get remote access to my office. I did not bring laptop on this trip. Also, on the weekend, the hotel turns into a wedding factory and can be noisey.

Good value for location
Although we have stayed at this hotel many times to visit our children attending Towson, and have been happy with our stay, we were disappointed at this last visit when a barking dog kept us awake for 45 minutes. It took some time for the Management to send someone up to resolve the issue.

parking is difficult at night in downtown, so plan ahead and plan on walking to your destination.

Perfect Towson Location
We stayed overnight here following a concert at the Recher Theatre. It was a safe close walk. I wish we would have had more time for shopping, as we were right across the street from the Towson Town Center. Room was great.

Goucher visitor
Nice hotel, but needs soundproofing
Everything about the Hotel was fine, except that the rooms need much better soundproofing. Every conversation in the hallway and alarm in adjoining rooms were far too loud.

Upstate College Parents
Nice location but rooms need work
Weekend stay dropping two kids off to college. Beds were very uncomfortable and sheets were like sandpaper. No hot water the first morning. Bar tender was rude in hotel bar. Great location though but we will not stay here again when we visit

Bad Experience
Hotel room was fine, experience was terrible. I was never informed of a scheduled power outage until the day I checked in. I was not going to start looking for a hotel when I already traveled to the city so I stayed. The power was out for an entire day with the A/C not working and no lights. Management did nothing to help. I will not be staying at a Sheraton again after the way I was treated.

Convenient location, great parking
Great stay overall. The only problem was one room key card that didn't work. My wife and I will be staying there again next year.
