Horrible
There is NO parking here-until after 7pm-and it's on the street-if you can find a spot. The parking garage that is a block away closes at 9p and does not open until 7a--not good for those out late or, like me, had to leave for the airport at 5am. Room was dirty, no climate controls in the room. Bathroom was dirty, dingy and smelly. I realize this was an old house they converted into a hotel, but the conversion was horrible. Room layouts are bad, no elevator and they have many "make-shift" things like lots of extension cords in the room instead of putting in more outlets, because of the weird layout I had to move a chair to get in and out of the bathroom door, twin bed was on a queen box spring(stuck out), even a skinny person could not sit on the toilet because it was wedged in the only place they could find and you could only stand and aim! I'm usually easy going, but this was just too many bad things. Oh, and I only got two channels in my room-despite the guide saying there was over 40 channel options. When I asked about it I was told, "Yeah, some of the tv's have problems. Sorry." No offer to switch me rooms or anything!

When we arrived - front desk talking to boyfriend - was pleasant and quick but not too attentive - did not seem to know much about area. Our room on top 4th floor - no elevators. Shower water pressure low and NO HOT WATER! But decorations quaint and very good location - nice area. Breakfast ok.

Unsuitable
Extremely disappointed! No plug for coffee maker or lamp on writing desk. Two channels (CNN & USA) available on tv. Claimed Comcast couldn't get part & would fix later. The room was really cold and the bed had one thin (old) blanket and a horrible thin polyester spread. I used my coat as an extra blanket to keep warm. The "Hot Continental Breakfast with waffles," was NOT available. Rather, they offered stale Cheerios, white bread spread out on a tray in the open air (no cover)! Regular coffee, with only an empty decaf pot, claiming that "people don't want it." When asked, desk clerk blamed the website person for not having updated web page info (i.e. erroneous breakfast info). No hot water for shower, to which desk clerk replied, "The people who installed put in energy saving parts, try putting the knob right in the middle," which offered barely lukewarm water. Towels were disgusting, old, extremely thin and hard, although a sign boasts; "We provide only the finest linens for our valued guests, however if you take our towels, a charge will be added to your credit card." Their web page also claims "newly decorated." Hmmmmm, that was hard to notice. They did upgrade me to a "suite," (not sure why) but it was on the 3rd floor and they had no elevator. The stairs are lovely, but the bannisters are loose & VERY wobbly. I also did not receive the senior discount, as promised. A number of other issues, but my advise is, DON'T STAY HERE, unless you like cold showers & no amenities! The view out the windows is charming and by far the best part of the stay.

6 days in Baltimore
I was staying in Baltimore for 6 days for some job interviews. The location of the hotel was convenient on public transportation lines and close to Penn Station. The staff were nice. However, I had to call the front desk like 5 times to ask them for the temperature to be raised as it was freezing in my room. The toilet got clogged. There was a mouse that entered my room from beneath the door. Sound isolation is poor, you could easily hear what's in a room from feet away. And the shower was too small and the faucet felt like it was gonna fall if I went too hard on it.

paying for convenience only
Went to Baltimore for a wedding at Peabody Library, so the location was awesome. Was on a tight budget so went for this hotel. Got my money's worth, which was: slow and inefficient staff; noisy vent in the bathroom; old carpeting; poor TV reception; low water pressure in shower; and noisiness outside. Two nights were plenty. Wouldn't recommend staying any longer.

Worst...Hotel...Ever
This place was awful. The staff was nice, but the room was filthy. There was leftover hair everywhere. THERE ARE NO ELEVATORS in this building. The winding stairs-that should be beautiful-appear to be coming apart from the walls. There is NO CENTRAL AIR-we had some sort of discount humidifier in the room set at 62 degrees (it was 90 deg outside), but didn't cool the room below 85-as was recorded by the smartphone thermometer. Yes, it is cheap, but TRUST ME, spend the extra $30 to stay someplace else. Did I mention that my reservation had my name, but someone else's credit card info? [...]

better than expected
Went for New Years Eve ... the decorative side is a little old fashion but the rooms are sizey and beds are comfortable!! Breakfast was delightful, I love waffles and they have a waffle maker there! Bathroom in our room was on the small side. We had friends that stayed there as well, their room was large! Parking is finding a spot on the street but there's a bus line across the street that runs every 15 minutes and lots to do within walking distance!
