Perfect location, historical hotel !
I had gone for a cardiology conference and booked this hotel as it was 2 blocks away from the convention center. The Radisson Plaza was in a great location, very close to the harbor and downtown. The orioles were playing the Yankees and the atmosphere was electric. I would recommend this stay for anyone who wants to visit and see baltimore. I really enjoyed my stay, even though I was there for less than 24 hrs.

Just ok
Although it is a close walk (>6 blocks each) to both the Inner Harbor and Camden Yards, you cannot be outside at the hotel past dark, just not safe. The room was just ok, old, stained carpets, peeling wallpaper, leaking water fixtures. Bit poorer than what i expected for the price, but suited my needs adequately. Disliked not getting a breakfast.

Serves its purpose
Staff was pleasant and helpful. Beds were comfy and rooms were clean. The bathroom could have been cleared and not so outdated. Location was great but the neighborhood isnt the greatest (esp. at night). Walking distance from light rail, and the Harbor. One block from the arena. If I make a trip out to Baltimore, would probably try a different hotel but for the price this served its purpose.

Lord Baltimore & old world charm..
This is an old hotel. Elevators need to be seriously worked upon, for example. However, the old world charm, the courtesy and warmth extended by the staff is simply unbeatable. Very cozy!

Awful
Let me start with something good...the staff was great. Take in to account this is my first review---Ever! But I found a roach in the bathroom and a moth. The white sheets had stains, bathtub had stains, even the towels. For a 3-star hotel you don't expect this. Just pay extra money and stay somewhere clean so you can relax and not be distracted by the feeling that something may crawl on you or your suitcase. The staff changed our room with no problem but we still had the same problems!! Parking is a bit of a hassel.

That one little thing that was missing
The Radisson Plaza Lord Baltimore Hotel was a very quaint place that was conveniently located in the heart of downtown Baltimore. The only thing or two things, that were missing was a microwave and refridgerator in the room. I haven't been to a hotel in years that didn't have those two main staples in their rooms. Other than that, the staff was awesome (thanks Kevin), the room was perfect and I would definitely stay there again.

On a Budget
I have stayed here before to attend conferences at more expensive hotels on the Harbor and found this hotel to be a great value. My room was great, spacious, comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful and prompt. My brother joined me for dinner at the restaurant and we had a very good meal. It was well worth the six block walk in triple digit heat to stay here for half of what it would have cost ne at the host hotel.
