This hotel is the worst
When you first pull up, you think that it is going to be great. Once we stepped out of the elevator on the 9th floor the smell of marijuana was so bad, and it continued to be that way every morning and every night when we got out of the elevator. We checked in on Fri night and left Sun. We were not notified that we had to get a new parking receipt each day even though they charged us up front, which caused us to get charged again when we got to the garage! The room...wow...outdated, dirty as anything, with lollipop wrappers on the floor next to the bed by the wall, stains on the sheets, and what looked like dried blood on the bathroom wall...what a shame because the hotel has a decent location....just stay away from the "red light district" which is just a few blocks away and you will try to get sucked into every seedy strip club...additionally the front desk told us about a seafood resturant that was "AMAZING...THE BEST LOCAL FOOD AROUND"...so after waiting 30 mins for what was supposed to be a 5 min wait (we could have walked since we walked back from there) the steak was cold, service was terrible and at the cost of $110. Sooo.....if you are not going to spend much time here I guess you can deal like we did....but if you have a choice, spend a little extra and go somewhere nice. Oh, and when we mentioned the smell of weed in the hallway to the front desk, he said...wow hope they save some for me...and we got stuck in an elevator for about 5 mins....scary.

Bugs in the beds
First room had bugs and the floors were filthy. We had them move us at midnight to another room that was smaller but had the same quality floors and bed as the previous one. The next day we had them move us to another room the same size as the first one. The mattress was stained with something indescribable which I took photos of because I was not moving again. We requested a Sleep Number-less bed and never got one. The valet parking is $31 per night. The staff was very helpful and apologetic. They comped our plaza charge as we were only able to use it one day.

Old World Charm
A beautiful hotel with exemplary staff. The facility showed some signs of wear (molding pulling away from the wall, and in need of some paint touch-ups, but it didn't detract from being a wonderful weekend getaway.

Reasonable priced
When my son dropped me off at night. I was a little scared. You do not walk around that neighborhood at night. During the day I was fine. Walked to the Inner Harbor. Just becareful of bums. I had to tell them to vaccum behind bed. Otherwise very clean. No continental breakfast. Had to go to little cafe on first floor fot muffin. The room had ample coffee. It was fine.

Good Value
This old hotel is a great value, but it's showing its age. The room was adequate in size, and included a microwave oven and refrigerator. The bed was adjustable in firmness, but uncomfortable at any setting. The TV was an old tube type with a poof picture. The breakfast buffet was very affordable, but also very limited in its offerings. The staff were very good and efficient. If you're looking for a great location and great price, this one is good choice.

Perfect location, historical hotel !
I had gone for a cardiology conference and booked this hotel as it was 2 blocks away from the convention center. The Radisson Plaza was in a great location, very close to the harbor and downtown. The orioles were playing the Yankees and the atmosphere was electric. I would recommend this stay for anyone who wants to visit and see baltimore. I really enjoyed my stay, even though I was there for less than 24 hrs.

Desperately needs some updates
The room could use some updates. The tub was stained and chipped, the lampshade by the bed had a big yellow stain on it, the armchair at the desk was tattered and fraying and the room smelled so bad of old, stale smoke that the scent lingered in my clothes (this was a non-smoking room). A small refrigerator would have been nice to keep my bottled water and leftovers from restaurants cold. Also, no microwave to heat up those leftovers. The single cup coffee maker was great but I was given only one single-serving creamer. The hallways were dimly lit making the place feel dingy. And the parking was SO inconvenient. If you didn't want to spend $31 for valet parking, you were stuck using one of two parking garages that forced you to haul luggage across streets and uneven pavements while walking past street bums. I did not dare to venture out to the garage at night for fear of my life. Needless to say, this will be my first and last visit.
