Overview

The French Renaissance-style Lord Baltimore hotel has been treating its guests to an elegant stay in Downtown Baltimore since its establishment in 1928. The hotel was given the award for Best City Center Historic Hotel in 2014 by the Historic Hotels of America for its class, charm and modern accommodations. In 2014, the Lord Baltimore underwent a multimillion-dollar renovation in its 440 guest rooms. Each of the hotel's six room types comes with complimentary high-speed Internet, a refrigerator and an in-room safe. Although the rooms have implemented some modernizations, they maintain their classic feel with walls decorated in original artwork and prints from the early 20th century.

good buisness trip

Would recommend Sat, Dec 12, 2015
Staff were very nice, but I had to ask where the gym was. There was not a hotel information pamphlet or book anywhere in the room. And I thought breakfast was included but I was wrong.

Gorgeous lobby. Slow elevators. Some staff is friendly, others not so much. They don't allow late check out which is a HUGE disappointment for me.

part business/part personal trip

Would recommend Wed, Jul 22, 2015
I love this hotel in downtown Baltimore. I've stayed there before and specifically booked it again. It isn't far from the Inner Harbor. The interior is interesting, the rooms are comfy, and the staff is attentive.

Roach at the Tavern

Would not recommend Fri, Jul 10, 2015
I felt the hotel was over priced for what it was. My first night there, I was sitting in the tavern eating dinner and a roach crawled across the bar. When I reported it the staff they just laughed it off and needless to say I didn't eat from there the rest of the trip. The hotel is across the street from the metro station and the police were always dealing with someone outside of the hotel. Also, their refund policy is ridiculous.
