The hotel was right off the expressway. It was easy to get off and on again. The hotel was very clean and with pleasant decor. Every staff person we encountered was very nice. The breakfast was very good and filling. They had hot, fresh waffles, hard boiled eggs, choices of: fruit , cereal, bagels, breads, muffins, juices & coffee. There was a room attendant for breakfast who kept refilling everything and cleaning up. After reading some of the reviews on the internet, I almost didn't book a room. I thought some of the negative comments were ungrounded. I wasn't looking for a resort, just a good place to spent a night at a reasonable price and I found it.

Not the best
I travel to Baltimore on business every week. I usually stay at the Country Inn & Suites located about 1/2 mile from the LaQuinta. Price changes were the reason for the switch. The LaQuinta is an older hotel. There is only 1 elevator, slow. The room is smaller and the hallways smelled of smoke. The room had a very strong carpet cleaner smell.

Not a bad place to stay
Our first night was bad. We got there around 11 pm, to find we had been booked in a wheelchair handicapped room with a very small full size bed and no fridge. The shower was on level with the floor and the water managed to miss the drain and headed for the hall. First thing in the morning, I talked to the desk clerk{ who remembered me from my last trip there several months ago)and let her know and she made it right by moving us to another floor with a fridge, microwave, and king size bed, same price! I honestly like staying there. The breakfast is fresh and awesome, very clean.

Short walk from hotel
If you want to walk, or drive, right across from the motel is a shopping center with everything you need from walmart, to dining. It offers a nice variety of eating and shopping really close to the motel.

A review title
Unfortunately I arrived during a weekend with a LARGE family reunion. Very noise and it took quite a long time to check in. Also........Orbitz charged me more for the room than the hotel would have! I thought there was supposed to be a savings.
