well priced and clean
Fairly new, clean, and perfect for overnight stay prior to interview. 10 min cab drive (at least pre-traffic) to UMaryland, John Hopkins and MedStar Harbor hospital. They have free shuttle to Inner Harbor to explore the area.

Great hotel for business trip
I had a great stay at the hotel. The price was excellent and the staff members were all very friendly. Clean room, working business center with free printing, and free parking. No problems.

restroom unrest
horrible facility
The front desk manager was great and the facility was well kept. However, the faucet fell off when I turned the water on in the sink. The handle on the toilet also fell off when I flushed the toilet. I will seriously reconsider staying at this hotel for this reason.

Farther than advertised from location
Pluses: Room was clean & comfortable, staff was friendly, parking was gated, & internet was free Minuses: Hotel was much farther from convention center than indicated at time of purchase, pool does not open until 9 am, walls were a bit thin (could hear the next door shower loudly).

Long walk from hotel
25-30 minute walk to convention center... last few blocks are through an area probably not good to walk alone at night... If you are going to walk to the Inner Harbor in the day liight, be prepared that you should probably pay for a cab to come back. I did not like to pay for a cab, but felt I shouldn't walk that last part at night, alone.

Very Comfortable Stay
After being on the road for 4 days it was a great relief to stay at the Holiday Inn express. Everything was top shelf. Sitting in the oversized whirpool watching ESPN on the large flat panel screen was the highlight!! The bedding was so comfortable. Despite the road construction outside, the location was good - an easy cab ride to ineer harbor.

Good location for downtown
The location for working in downtown Baltimore was great. The room was clean and the staff were helpful. I did not like paying $10/day to park when they had a large parking lot, it felt excessive.

Honest Staff
On the second day of my stay I reached for my wallet to pay for lunch but found no cash inside. I realized that I must have left my money on the dresser, $120! When I returned to my room 8 hours later, the room had been cleaned and all of the money was exactly where I had left it!
