Rooms way to small for the cost and pillows on the beds were small and hard. I could hear every time some one flush there ... Toilet, bath rooms to small they even had to cut a notch in the door so it would clear the toilet.

The room and in-room amenities were much nicer than I expected. The only drawback was being across the street from the fire ... station; however the well-insulated windows muffled the noise and it didn't last for long. The business center was excellent, well stocked, and free. Great value!

Three blocks down Lombard St., at 36 Light St., is the excellent bar and restaurant serving seafood, Burke's Cafe. Also notable, but a drive to Fells Point, at the corner of Broadway and Eastern Ave., at 505 South Broadway, is an excellent (also serving seafood) restaurant, Carolina's Tex Mex Restaurant.

Nice stay
Brittany Oct 19, 2009
The room was very clean but when it came to parking it was a little upsetting that we had to pay $21/per day to park our ... vehicle. Plus the parking staff was very rude. We have a big truck, that fits into 1 parking spot ALL the time & they wanted to charge us for 2 parking spots ($42/per day) bc it was on over sized truck & they fill ALL the parking spots everyday. We walked to our truck probably 2-3 times per day & not even 1/2 the spots were filled. The parking attendants were just very RUDE!

unfriendly stay
Melissa unhappy guest. Aug 13, 2009
I have stayed at this hotel before, but this last trip will be my last with the holiday inn. I travel from new york every ... year with my boyfriend to see an orioles game and enjoy the inner harbor. Usually the staff is very friendly and helpful and Ive never had an issue with the room. This year was not the same. There was garbage left on the floor and table in the room. The staff was very rude and unfriendly. The house keeper came to my room at 9 and tapped the door lightly and then proceeded to open the door. She did not identify herself as she barged in. She asked us when we were leaving, when my boyfriend replied that we were planning on leaving by 10-1030 she said "check out is at 11." As we checked out we talked to the front desk clerk and told her about the situation. She informed us that her housekeepers would never do that because they know not to go into anyone's rooms until check out at 12. She did not escalate the issue to her manager or even seem to care that their housekeeper was rude and left us feeling rushed. I usually enjoy my stay at the holiday inn but this last trip was the time I will stay with them.

Enjoyable Family Get Away
Sports Mom Aug 12, 2009
Very clean, rooms have just been done over. The service in the restaurant was very very slow. I saw a few people walk out ... as they were not waited on in a timely manner. Rooms are small and the bathrooms are tiny. They advertised Kids eat free, but then was told you have to get a coupon and the restaurant they dinning manager didn't know where you get them. I have never experience that at any other another Holiday Inn. We enjoyed our stay but if returning the the Inner Harbor probably would not select this Holiday Inn again.

The Sports Museum at Camden Yards was great and well worth the price if you are a sport van. Fun for kids too. Lots going on in the Inner Harbor. Food is a little expensive.

Best i've stayed in for Otakon
VengeanceBunnie Jul 20, 2009
This was a really great hotel to stay at while attending Otakon. The distance from the convention center is very convenient. ... They have their own parking, which can just be added to the hotel bill conveniently. This is the first hotel I've been to while attending Otakon that had a TV that you could easily connect your own devices to (i.e. dvd player). And I loved that there was a fridge in the room already. Very convenient. I would definitely stay here again when I visit Baltimore.

Lacking Charm
Meme Jun 23, 2009
I got put in the West Tower- seemed to be recently rehabbed. Looked clean enough but the odor from the new flooring was ... unbearable and bad for my asthma. I had requested a non-smoking room and should have never been put in the tower for the poor air quality. Clerks at the desk did not ask me how my stay was when I was checking out and it was difficult to get them to help hold my luggage on the day of my departure.

Wayne Jun 22, 2009
I spent a weekend and had a very good time. I got a great deal on the room and a rental car package, but then the hotel ... charged $21 to park the rental car, so there went the good deal. For a short stay, you don't need a car; the inner harbor is close enough that you won't need it. Nice room, friendly and efficient staff.

Even though Baltimore is known for high crime rate, we felt completely safe walking back and forth from the harbor. If you go to Baltimore, take the water taxi. There are 15 stops and you can get on and on all day for $8.00. the big attraction for us was the Aquarium. I's awesome.
