Quintessential Annapolis experience with a touch of Irish charm
Owned by a private, Dublin-based hotel group, the 120-room O'Callaghan Annapolis Hotel emanates a subtle Old World vibe. Staffers welcome guests with warm, Irish-style hospitality, and dark-wood European furnishings accent the cozy décor. Guests walk to Annapolis's signature attractions, but the hotel also runs a complimentary downtown shuttle. All rooms offer free high-speed Internet, and the on-site restaurant, John Barry, serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner -- with Guinness on tap, of course.

Great weekend
We stayed here for a girls weekend. The staff was fantastic and very friendly and were happy to accommodate any of our requests. The rooms are large and comfortable and some adjoining rooms are available, which we liked. Parking is valet. Hotel is walking distance to downtown Annapolis (about 1 mile), but is a little farther away than some of the other hotels.

Perfect Location
I stayed here one night when i had tickets to a show at Rams Head live. The location couldn't be better. You are within walking distance of all downtown Annapolis has to offer- bars, restaurants, shopping and of course, Rams Head. Hotel was a little pricey for Annapolis (I just booked a hotel for NYE for $100 less than I paid for this on a random Saturday night) but the room was extremely clean.

Old Hotel, but nice inside, great location
Expensive but worth the location. Outside is deceiving in that the rooms are very clean and nicely decorated. Staff was great. A little bar/restaurant is inside.

Good deal and location
Our recent two night stay for a class reunion was even better than expected. The room was quite comfortable and a good value. The Annapolis waterfront and Naval Academy were within a comfortable walking distance, but the hotel offered a free ride on their electric cart if you are in a hurry. Annapolis is a great walking town, and we like to walk. We took the electric car once to the Academy gate, and it was quite convenient. The staff at the front desk was particularly pleasant as was the cart driver.

Quiet and Cozy
Very easy to check in. Friendly staff. Valet parking was $18...wondering if there's a cheaper allternative? Water pressure was weak. But the room was quiet and comfortable. Great restaraunts at the Annapolis Towne Center...just couple miles down the road. Plenty of shopping and history in the area!
