Will do if you are desperate for a hotel

Room selection around Annapolis sold out very quickly due to local event. Quality Inn had the last two rooms available for ... 15 miles around. We booked Non-Smoking but were given Smoking Room when we arrived. There was no option for change. (It was very thick smoke smell in the room.) The hallway has a strong cleaning agent or "freshener" odor like the facility is trying to cover musty or other bad smells. Breakfast buffet did have 'make your own waffles' and hard boiled eggs plus muffins, pastries, cereal, OJ. Basically: if absolutely nothing else is available then you can book this as a last resort and at least not sleep in your car.

The young person at the front desk was very nice but Manager was not. After talking to manager to tell him we would not be ... staying at his motel he told me I'd have to call Orbitz. I did that. Orbitz told me to go back in and talk to him before they could do anything for me...in the meantime he left and couldn't be reached. Really?? Anyway,the place smelled very smokey and was not clean. We refused to stay there and moved to another motel. I will not book through Orbitz again. I spoke with Orbitz and they are forcing me to pay for one of the two nights even though the hotel was misrepresented. I am done with Orbitz and in my opinion they should be done with Quality Inn Annapolis.

This hotel has seen better days--our bath faucet had a constant drip and the toilet was loose, so when you would sit down on ... the toilet it rocked. The room itself was kind of dingy, but that was just because it is so old and needs some updating!

Not Bad for Short Stay

This hotel was convenient to Route 50, it was clean. The room and bathroom were both a little on the small side. The ... continental breakfast also left something to be desired. Also, my room safe didn't work and at checkout when I told the clerk, he said I should have told him, he didn't offer to reimburse me for the safe fee however. Overall, this hotel was okay.
