They made up for it.

The hotel had everything going for it, however the guests were LOUD. They must have been partying on the town all night. When they got off the elevator they were very noisy bouncing off the walls down the hallway. I commented on that to the front desk the next morning. The attendant cut $25 dollars off my bill and gave us free breakfast passes. The breakfast was great, probably a $30 value. It made up for the noise!

Good try, but would not return

The room was quite noisy. You could hear other guests and there was a noise like a dental drill that could be heard every 30 seconds or so. The staff was courteous. We were assigned an occupied room at check-in. The staff member was very apologetic and, later, sent a bottle of wine and a cheese platter to our room

great service, a little noisy

The desk, bell and room service staff was very polite and helpful. The dog policy was GREAT, I had two small dogs who felt right at home. Unfortunately, there was little league hockey tournament in town and the hotel was full of kids. The doors weren't well insulated enough to block the sound of feet marching down the hallways, loud voices and a slamming doors. The location is just outside the main active downtown area, not in the "heart of downtown" as the description suggests. There is a good shuttle that only take a few minutes to get into town center.

hidden fees, rm small, food fair

When I saw this place I thought, Wow! The area was nice, the staff and residents were friendly. Then I got to the room. I said to myself this looks nothing like what I saw on the web site. The room was cold when we walked in, we thought the heat was broken. I understand energy savings, but I made the reservations hours ago. I was willing to deal with it. Then I saw a long brown hair laying on the bathroom floor along with a leaf and a dirty foot print. On a white bath mat, I was ready to complain. This was a stress free weekend get away for my Girlfriend and I. The first one in about 3 years. I looked at my girlfriend and she was so excited and happy. I let it go. The food from the resturant was fair. The steak was dry, the steak fries were cold and the bread hard. When I go to check out they tell me I had to pay for vallet service. Which I had no problem paying for but, no ever mentioned they it was not covered or if we had a choice weather or not we used it.

Talk about thin walls!! Wow!!!

Quite possibly the worse hotel experience I have ever had in my life. The walls extremely thin. You could hear every word spoken on the other side. The thing that makes matters worse is it is a pet friendly hotel! This is definitely not a place you want to consider staying at if you plan on getting a good night sleep or if you just want to sleep-in in the morning. One night we order food through room service and while the food wa terrific, the tablecloth that they served the food on smelled lke wet dog! The only real perk of this hotel was the location. It's very close to Annapolis mall and not too far from food, dining, or entertainment. Be warned though..if you use your gps to find it use an exit other than exit 23 aka Parole/west street. It is guaranteed to be a traffic nightmare during rush hour or anytime on the weekend.
