Mildew and Smoke Smell
The room was fine for what little we remained in it. However, there was a very distinct mildew smell in the room and the hallway smelled heavily of smoke. The tv in the bedroom did not work. The room was very over priced for the lack of amenities, no room service if only staying a couple of nights and you had to empty your own trash. We were desperate for a room in Annapolis during a busy weekend. Would not stay there again given a choice.

Not the Best Choice For Me
The Homestead is not conveniently located if you intend to walk to see the Annapolis attractions but was convenient for me on this trip as it was close to another hotel that was hosting an event that I was participating in. A vehicle or other transportation is a must. It has coffee and tea available 24/7 but does not provide any type of breakfast so it is better for those staying for longer than a weekend and/or those wishing to have a kitchen. I have stayed many places and have come to prefer a place that offers breakfast so I don't have to go out for every meal. The staff is friendly and helpful. Additional parking is also needed.

Woulsn't stay again
Nothing special, defiantly wish i had spent the extra $30 for a much nice place at a different hotel. If you don't care and are looking for something cheap its fine but wouldn't rave about it. People were nice. We left our camera and they got it back to up.

Good deal
This hotel is a GREAT value. It is clean, quiet and comfortable. I stayed there last year and thought it was great, and it seems they have done work to make it better. There is no daily housekeeping, but we liked that. The location is not scenic, but is a short drive to downtown, provides plenty of well-lit parking, and is near plenty of restaurants, a huge grocery store, and other shopping. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The room was very clean and the hotel staff was extremely helpful. However, the room had ants in it and was kind of dreary. The kitchen was very useful.
