Not so good
When searching for a room, the photo provided by the hotel shows a harbor with ships. In truth the hotel was far from water. The bathroom was very small and cramped with little or no space for toiletries. Its was not worth the cost paid. We had much nicer and spacious rooms on this trip for the same or lesser price.

Everything except the mattress
We have stayed at this hotel before when it was the Days Inn. The rooms are lovely and immaculately clean. While not brand new, you can tell they are very well maintained. We had 2 issues. 1.) The entrance and exit have traffic restrictions. They sit in close to an intersection that is one way and blocked from the far lanes. To go places you have to wrangle with traffic and it will include at least one u-turn per trip. 2.) For us, the mattress was horrible. I did not sleep well at all the two nights we stayed and we chose to forfeit our prepaid third night and drive the 5.5 hours home late that night instead of trying to sleep on that bed. Would give 4 stars except for this mattress.

There is a large number of chain restaurants in a 1/4 mile or less drive. It is in the middle of an area with 4 large shopping malls.

it's an older place, some patched ceiling places & older bath fixtures, but very clean, comfortable;lots of towels;comfortable bedding; had whirlpool tub--very noisy when filling, but otherwise very nice. only drawback, close to highway, so can hear traffic. Can walk to large, new shopping center with restuarants, wine store, Whole Foods, major high-end retailers. Large choice complimetary breakfast Would stay there again

Disappointed
The first day of check-in, the television was not working/unplugged. Desk receptionist didn't have the key to give us enough towels. She told us to come back. A incline was placed on the steps next to our room. Definitely a hazard. The second day no wash clothes were placed in the bathroom. A stain was in the bottom of the tub. Wasn't worth the price. Room got hot during late night and early morning.

Good location, good price, BAN SMOKING!
Comfortable, friendly staff with adequate workout facility, business cubicle and breakfast. Has in room wi-fi - near new Parole shopping area and not far from downtown, by car. All in all, it's quite adequate.

Great location at a good price!
We only spent one night here; but, the personnel were friendly and efficient and the rooms were clean. Although the bathrooms were on the small size, the cleanliness made them perfect for our overnight stay. One drawback, if you have kids: no pool.

Holiday Inn Annapolis
We picked this hotel because it was outside the historic downtown and had a lovely room. The only problem was when we opened the curtain in the morning our room faced a cemetery. Our window was right above a small chapel.I think they need to tell people in advance.

Reasonable hotel
The hotel is not within walking distance of historic Annapolis but it is within a 5-10 minute drive. We stayed for a race that started at the Navy stadium and had plenty of parking and visited some gardens and parks in Annapolis but I wouldn't recommend staying here if your main goal is to see historic Annapolis. It's a pain to park down there during peak times(nice summer weekends). Of course you can park a little further out and walk in. The hotel was nice and really clean. There was also a Whole Foods next door with an enormous salad/buffet bar so easy to get food at a decent price if you need something quick.

UN-ACCOMODATING STAFF
THE STAFF WHO CHECKED US IN WAS VERY UN-ACCOMODATING. THAT VERY PERSON ALSO LIED TO ME WHEN I REQUESTED FOR A SPECIFIC ROOM FRONTING THE PARKING LOT.... WHEN I LATER WAS INFORMED BY SOME FRIENDS ALSO STAYIONG IN THAT VERY SAME HOTEL (WE WERE IN ANNAPOLIS FOR THE SAME REASONS- TO ATTEND THE SAME EVENT)THAT THERE WAS AN AVAILABLE ROOM WITH THE SPECIFIC ROOM I WAS ASKING FOR. SEVERAL PEOPLE I KNEW CHECKED IN LATER THAN ME... AND THEY WERE GIVEN THE EXACT SAME ROOM I WAS REQUESTING FOR. WHEN IO CAME DOWN TO THE DINING AREA THE NEXT MORNING, THE NIGHT STAFF AT THE FRONT DESK OFFERRED ME TO CHANGE ROOMSTO THE ONE I WAS ORIGINALLY REQUESTING THE DAY BEFORE WHEN I CHECKED IN......( CAN YOU IMAGINE THE INCONVENINCE I HAD TO GO THROUGH?) MEANING THE ROOM I WAS ORIGINALLY REQUESTING THE DAY BEFORE WAS IN FACT AVAILABLE BUT THE LADY WHO CHECKED US IN JUST DIDNT WANT TO BE BOTHERED.
