This is a solid value. For roughly 80 bucks per night you get a decent room, a breakfast bar, coffee, internet, and very easy access to 93 and 95. All in all, very efficient.

Great deal!
This Hampton Inn is definitely on a smaller scale than the one in Peabody. It doesn't have a pool or a work out room (hence the average amenity rating). The rooms are also a bit smaller...smaller bathroom and smaller sitting area, but still very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing! Not only was breakfast 'chef' Carol hospitable and very friendly, the food was surprisingly amazing. The waffles were fantastic and the omelets were soooo good! There was plenty of food, whether you were on a diet, or like me, ate whatever you pleased while on vacation. Every afternoon, they also had fresh baked cookies and on most afternoons, they had coffee and tea set up with festive pumpkin cookies. The one irritating thing about our stay, was a strong smoke smell that emitted from the wall AC unit and the fan area in the bathroom. It was horrible and smelled like we were smoking in our room. We called the front desk and they didn't have a resolution. For non-smokers, it was very uncomfortable. Overall, though, we had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It was in a very convenient location for us and we would stay here again in the future.

Close to Salem
We stayed here and commuted to a conference in Salem. It was about a 15/20 minute drive which we were fine with since this hotel was much cheaper than those in Salem. All staff members were friendly and there were no issues with the room! Would stay here again!

Eh,... not impressed
Was hoping for better because reviews were so great. It was a clean room but tight. Free breakfast was a very nice touch but no where to sit, it was a mad house. Also... NO POOL!!!

Great Place
We worried about being outside of downtown Boston, but the Anderson/Woburn commuter train was very convenient, clean and easy to understand. (Don't be afraid of the Mass Transit System--it is wonderful) We loved the room--very clean, and the staff was so helpful as we tried to decide what to do in Boston, especially the woman who maintained the excellent breakfast bar. The attached restaurant was an easy and delicious choice. Our only concern was having only one elevator for a five story hotel.

GREAT STAY
NICE BREAKFAST AREA BUT..THE DESIGN WAS NOT GOOD...TOO MANY PEOPLE AT WAFFLE MAKER NOT ALLOWING ACCESS TO OTHER AREAS SUCH AS EGGS..TOAST AND JUICE AREAS....WOULD SUGGEST MOVING WAFFLE MAKER TO THE MICROWAVE AREA AT THIS PARTICULAR HOTEL..VERY LITTLE TRAFFIC THERE
