Super 8 West Springfield/Route 5

bugs in the room, rude staff, the breakfast was pretty much the same thing everyday. bread and donuts. like i said, you get what u pay for.

West Springfield, MA has a strip of low cost motels this is one of the worst in the area! The staff is rude, the breakfast is stale, and the rooms are almost clean. The entire hotel smells of smoke even in the halls! I cant even say that for the price it was worth it! The wi-fi didnt always work and when it did it was very slow. The beds are hard and so are the towels. Most of this I could have dealt with if the staff were almost nice.

Our room, the hotel lobby and the hallway leading to our room smelled really bad - like years of cigarette smoking that never was cleaned. We only stayed a few minutes before asking for our money back and going somewhere else. There are a lot of other reasonable hotels in the area; there is no need to stay in these conditions.

Stayed here for 6 Flags trip with a couple of families. Clean rooms, friendly staff but real small bathrooms and no cream rinse for hair. Basic breakfast...was looking forward to fruit as shown in their picture....no fruit! All-in-all a good place for the price.

first night we found a steak knife next to the bed. second night i went to plug in my power cord for my cell into a socket & there was a used condom on the light plug

Breakfast is sub par, just donuts and coffee. Third time there and it never gets any better. Day we were checking out we got a call from the desk saying we were too noisy. The problem seems to be the paper thin walls. Also noticed the connecting room door was split like someone had kicked it. The shower curtain needed to be reattached as it was hanging down.

I had a relaxed stay not alot of noise. Room was spacious. However i do think that they should have had a variety of breakfast items and coffee and juice machine should be available all day.

about what you'd expect. close to interstate, plenty of food and shopping nearby. room was clean, shower actually at normal height and the drain actually drained. cable channels were extensive. only downer was that i accidentally booked 4 nights rather than 5. when i found this out (because room key had been deactivated) i had to pay full rate rather than what i had been paying which was about $20 less. the girl shouls have been empowered to adjust the rate given that fact that i'd been here all week.

Once we figured out how to use the shower with a helpful tip from the front desk, shower was great. Wooded area behind the hotel provided a nice view of woods and it was quiet on that side. Some noise from late guests coming and going late at night but didn't last long. Morning coffee was adequate. Fine for the price.
