Candlewood Suites WEST SPRINGFIELD

This was my second visit to this property over a 5 month period. I appreciated that the front desk staff remembered my face. Yet, I was more impressed that they remembered my allergic reaction to animal dander . Nicole and the others are personable, willing to help and over a pleasant home away from home experience.

We needed a place to stay as we were going to a family wedding in Mass. We loved this hotel. The staff was very friendly and the place was very clean. There were a lot of restaurants around and we were not far from the Ingleside Mall which is very nice. We took a trip to Boston one day and Mystic the next. Both were less than two hours away. We had a wonderful vacation and would definitely stay at Candlewood Suites in West Springfield again!!

I was pleased with the hotel but whatever was used for a room deorderant was extremely strong, not good at all for an allergy sufferer. As a matter of fact as I was checking in a lady that had spent the previous night was at the desk and commented that her children hated the smell. Other than the above this is a very nice place.

The location of this hotel isn't amazing but it was just about perfect for what I needed. Very close to the relatives I was visiting, and easy to find. The staff was nothing but friendly and helpful to us, answering all questions and requests with a smile. The room itself was pretty good sized with a comfy bed and comes with a FULL fridge, 2 burner stove, DISH WASHER, garbage disposal, and coffee maker with a few packs of coffee, as well as flatware, plates and glasses and a pack of pop corn in the full size microwave. The bathroom was quite roomy with typical hotel shower water pressure. Downstairs they have a "pantry" with some dry good snacks and food as well as a few reach in coolers with some microwave dinners and ice cream snacks and more. Pretty decent selection if you want to stock your fridge for more than a couple days. The only thing that wasn't what we had hoped for was the pool area. It was a little less than enticing, but at the same time, you get to go swimming year round at this hotel since it's an indoor pool. Overall I DEFINITELY plan to book here again in the future.

Employees at this hotel and its parent company are rude and uncaring. We stayed there two nights at Thanksgiving. The hotel is poorly sound-proofed. We had running on our ceiling late at night on both nights. The man at the desk was rude and unprofessional when I asked him to call the other room. The manager never bothered returning my call about this inappropriate behavior. Guest Relations at the parent company took several weeks to send an e-mail saying they “regretted any inconvenience.” I do not recommend this hotel to others, it is not worth the money for what you get, especially in light of the poor attitudes we experienced.

I was at a business meeting. The hotel is close to Bradley International and the staff was GREAT and the place is CLEAN.

This hotel was super convenient to downtown Springfield where I had a conference at the MassMutual Center. Great room, very clean and quiet. No complaints.

The room could have been cleaner but the location was good. We were there for a summer sports camp, Peak 200 Lacrosse camp.

Easy access to Mass Pike. Quick late night check-in, very clean and comfortable room. We liked it so much we decided to book a room for our trip home and they even matched the rate we had found on-line even though it wasn't a promotion through the hotel.
