Overpriced average hotel
I work in the area and all the hotels along Totten Pond road in Waltham have become outrageously overprice in the last couple years.

caters to business people
Free parking, free wi-fi, and free breakfast. This hotel seemed more suited to a business trip. There is nothing to do in the hotel itself. We were there for a college family weekend and it took 30 mins to drive into Boston for college activities. Hotel was clean and quiet, but too quiet for our tastes. We like to be closer to the action.

It is a good place to stay
The hotel was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included and honestly speaking I ate a lot! :) The location is not bad, we spent about 15 mins to get there from Boston. The stuff was polite and friendly. I would recommend this hotel!

Worth It
Overall a good stay. Staff was nice enough, but not out of the way helpful. Breakfast was good, but crowded. Not thrilled with the stall shower. Room was large and contemporary. Not an ideal location if you want easy access to downtown Boston, but not far if you have a car.

Good Price - Decent Stay
The hotel itself is nice. The room was large and very clean. Free WiFi a big plus for me. I was not a fan of the stall shower, would have prefered a tub. The breakfast had a good variety for a continental, but was VERY crowded on Sunday (very small dining room and no where to sit). The staff was friendly, but not the "out of the way helpful" I expect from a hotel. I was also displeased to hear of a $25 per night incidental deposit for debit card users...particularly since I paid in full in advance of my stay. They put the hold on for a week. Overall, it was a good stay though.

Time-saving tip:
Not Applicable
If you want easy access to downtown Boston pick somewhere else, there is no easy access to public transportation. Great location if you plan to drive.

Comfortable and fair priced
Stopped by for a night at the hotel, it is conveniently located right off the highway and a short drive from Downtown Boston. Save yourself over $100 and stay at this great hotel.

Convenient location- a real bargain!
We were in the Boston area to see friends and this location was perfect right by Route 128. The room was large enough, quiet, and clean. The service staff was always gracious; the breakfast food was OK but plentiful. We'd stay there again.

Good, convenient pace to stay.
The purpose of our trip was to attend a wedding celebration in Watertown. This hotel was very convenient to that location. It was even closer to attractions in Waltham which we were able to enjoy in the evening and on the morning before the celebration. Dining in Waltham was especially impressive, as was the Riverwalk along the Charles River. The breakfast at the hotel each morning was excellent with many choices of food. The only thing we would have liked better at the hotel would have been a little more shelf space in the bathroom, but limited shelf space seems to be the trend these days for many hotels.

Dining tip:
Short drive from hotel
Moody Street (recommended by front desk) in Waltham had a variety shops and restaurants. If you are looking for a diner w/local flare, don't miss Heidi's Cafe for lunch. Great food and conversation!
