Extended Stay Deluxe Boston - Waltham

just a complete dump. Dirty and full of grubby people.

Seedy overall. I had a "non-smoking" room which apparently was a smoker room not too long ago, as even though there indeed was fresher paint on the ceiling and walls, the nicotine stains permently stained the perimeters of the mirror, sprinkler heads, thermostat control, air cond., and all the wire shelving in the closet. If i was not so completely exhausted when i got there, i would have gone next door to the Westin and paid WHATEVER they wanted to charge me.

The room description was misleading. It said: "Deluxe studio-queen bed deluxe studio-queen bed sleeper sofa kitchen dining and work area non smoking." So I thought there would be 2 queen beds and a sleeper sofa, but it turned out to be 1 queen bed and 1 full-size sleeper sofa. So I requested for a different room, but they told me that all rooms are the same. The kitchen was okay. Dishes, cups, utensils, pots and pans are provided. Dishwasher and detergent too. They charge $4.99 for internet access.

Room had an odor, & staff was unable to print my boarding pass. generally, very average.

I was basically looking for a place to spend the night. Was visiting Boston and couldnt find any other place so landed up here. It was my first time at Extended Stay and I was really happy once I reached the place. I was upgraded to a room with kitchen! Location of the hotel may seem really away from the city (16 miles) but once you see a Westin and a Marriot (if I remember correctly) right adjacent to it, you feel comfortable and safe. Its a 15-20 minutes drive from Boston city. Room (mine was a studio) was clean and big enough for me and my wife. We had no children. It was extremely worth the money for me. For the same price I have had to stay at not-so-great motels previously. This was definitely worth the visit and I would stay at this place again if visiting Boston or a nearby city.

The room was clean and spacious for two people. The only complaint my husband made was their TV set in the room.It doesn't have to be a flat screen TV but something more decent would have been better.The color was so off and you can't see any letters/numbers/scores during the Boston Bruins game.

i was there for an event in newton, ma. the location is very remote. did not venture into waltham proper. enjoyed the westin hotel bar & restaurant which are ver convenient next door within walking distance. very strange there was no housecleaning available-found towel laundry. complimentary breakfast only mon-fri - i was there over a weekend/no compliments. room was clean upon arrival but desk chair had scmootz on seat. security was med-low. cabfare to newton, 7-8 miles away, ran about $40. used t-train from alewife station to get into boston-$25cab.

Rooms were clean and being an extended stay, having the plates was great because we ordered pizza and definitely needed them. Also the fridge was a great bonus for the cold ones.
