going down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
we have stayed here several times in the past and were always pleased with it. This time things have changed. Not much choice with the continental breakfast. The room seemed dirty. Rugs spotted. Towel rack gone from wall.No tissues. We won't stay there again.

Good, good, and good!
Good location. Clean. Quiet. Reasonably priced. Friendly staff. A good place to stay. Only minor complaint is the room did not have enough outlets.

The price is right, location is terrific
The room was very nice and it was clean. There were plenty of towels and pillows. Would have preferred a pad of paper and some more shampoo & lotion but these are minor issues. The only thing that went wrong was that we did not get the wakeup call we asked for. Other than that, the stay was quite pleasant and we would stay there again.

Nice place to stay

Beware
I read reviews about this hotel before choosing it. Everything I read was pretty positive. I would not stay there again if somebody paid me to. The wall paper was peeling of the walls, the place was filthy, the refrigerator didn't work and was full of mildew, it smelled horrible. The worst part was that we didn't even want to sleep on the sheets because of what they looked like. We also had to duck as walking into the room because of the webs hanging in the doorway. Never again will we ever stay there. Beware!

family and pet friendly.
we were visiting family. The location was good for shopping. We enjoyed the waffles in the morning. We didn't know we had to "declare" we had a dog with us. The cost was $20 per night which was fine. Overall good. We have stayed at the Sturbridge host hotel and the Publick house in the past. This was half the price and of equal quality.(P.S. the manager said the Motel 6 down the road does not charge for pets)

Convenient Stay reasonable Price
Right off I-84, quiet location, easy in and out, staff friendly, good coffee in AM at continental breakfast, beds comfy, clean. Would definitely stay there again!

Clean & Quiet
The room was neat and clean when I arrived. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom looked as if it had received a recent makeover, very nice. Desk staff was very pleasant. Area was quiet. I would stay here again.

Great Weekend in Old New England
We were in the area to attend the "Annual Tailgating bottle swap/sale and Auction" at Norman Heckler's in Woodstock Valley, CT. Beautiful weather, old and new friends - it doesn't get any better. This was the second year in a row that we stayed here. It's easy to get to, close to good dining and antique shops. The rooms are clean and quiet and reasonable.
