Very clean and convenient for the price
I was pleasantly surprised at how roomy and clean the room was. It was also a surprise to find out that it was a small town that liked antiques and had many small local antique stores to shop at. All in all it was a very pleasant stay, the only thing I would say that I disagree with is they charge you for an early checkin which I completely disagree with. No one can plan a trip especially if there coming a distance whether your driving or flying, no one can plan for traffic or delays and I don't think we should be penalized for that when getting in early, especially after a long ride or flight.

There are many different restaurants very close with many different varieties of food. Shopping seems to be limited to antiques but I must say it was a pleasure, we enjoyed the area very much.

Great rooms for good price
If you're looking to get a regular hotel room for a good rate, get one here. The staff are excellent, hotel is quiet and the rooms are very clean. Just don't be nit picky folks...if you're expecting a 5 star $300 room, then don't look here and go somewhere that offers those expensive rooms. If you're looking for an affordable, clean and comfy room, look no further. You definitely will get your moneys worth!

we have stayed here several times in the past and were always pleased with it. This time things have changed. Not much choice with the continental breakfast. The room seemed dirty. Rugs spotted. Towel rack gone from wall.No tissues. We won't stay there again.

Good, good, and good!
Good location. Clean. Quiet. Reasonably priced. Friendly staff. A good place to stay. Only minor complaint is the room did not have enough outlets.

The price is right, location is terrific
The room was very nice and it was clean. There were plenty of towels and pillows. Would have preferred a pad of paper and some more shampoo & lotion but these are minor issues. The only thing that went wrong was that we did not get the wakeup call we asked for. Other than that, the stay was quite pleasant and we would stay there again.

Beware
I read reviews about this hotel before choosing it. Everything I read was pretty positive. I would not stay there again if somebody paid me to. The wall paper was peeling of the walls, the place was filthy, the refrigerator didn't work and was full of mildew, it smelled horrible. The worst part was that we didn't even want to sleep on the sheets because of what they looked like. We also had to duck as walking into the room because of the webs hanging in the doorway. Never again will we ever stay there. Beware!

family and pet friendly.
we were visiting family. The location was good for shopping. We enjoyed the waffles in the morning. We didn't know we had to "declare" we had a dog with us. The cost was $20 per night which was fine. Overall good. We have stayed at the Sturbridge host hotel and the Publick house in the past. This was half the price and of equal quality.(P.S. the manager said the Motel 6 down the road does not charge for pets)
