Oldie but goodie
The Scottish Inn is an older motel, but clean. The staff is superb. The only real complaint, as with all Scottish Inns we have stayed at, are the thinness of the towels and washcloths. A petty complaint, but one that needs correcting. Good eating right next door. About a mile from the center of Sturbridge.

Good overnight stop
Nice room with good TV, free internet, comfortable king bed, fridge and microwave. Friendly staff. Main negatives were threadbare towels and too much road moise.

College hunting 2011
This hotel is not for those looking to spend time in the hotel. It is merely beds to sleep. Very poor amenities, but overall nice staff and clean.

A great find would definately stay again
This was a half way point on our trip, so this was only a stop over point but it was a great find. The rooms had everything you needed for a good night sleep, clean towels comfortable beds, although they were only twin size but still comfortable.

The resturant next door showed alot of promise but unfortunately it did not live up to that promise.

adequate, but not going back
it was clean enough, but i wouldn't necessarily say it was CLEAN. no tissues in the room. fridge and microwave were wonderful. A/C worked really well, but was a bit loud. nice selection of TV channels. Sleep timer didn't work. "free breakfast" was packaged pastry and sugary cereals. Went next door to restaurant for breakfast, which was adequate. Close to sturbridge locations. nice water pressure and plenty of hot water. very small bathroom and sink. no bathroom storage space. overall, it was very basic and ok. but i will not be going back again...

little breakfast place next door is adequate, but very fast, if you have limited time for breakfast, like I did. Cracker Barrel is a short drive away, too.

Great price, no complaints
Standard motel, comfortable bed, clean room. I've stayed there before and will be happy to do so again. Had refrigerator and microwave oven in room. Room was a bit dark but no worse than most these days. (I like really bright room lights, but most people don't care as much as I do.) Has OK cereal, juice, and coffee plus bad pre-packaged pastries for continental breakfast included in room price.

There's a breakfast restaurant next door to the motel, not associated with the motel (at least not in any way known to me). I got sick after eating at the restaurant, but that's not the motel's fault. The motel is fine, but I wouldn't go back to that restaurant!
