Rockport Inn - a pleasant surprize
We've done this before. [...] We wanted to relocate to another tourist area (Cape Ann) and this turned out awesome. We'd stayed a week in Cape Cod and wanted to see more of the East Coast(we're from CA). The hotel was just right. Great location close to everything (sights as well as airport for trip home), helpful service suggesting things to see, and a great breakfast for free. We would recommend the Rockport Inn to anyone.

Will stay again.
We visitied our son at his college and spent time in Rockport sightseeing and enjoying very fresh seafood.

Excellent Location and Value
Went to Rockport to visit family. This was by far the best hotel we have stayed at in the area and we have been coming to Rockport to visit family for the past 20 years. Hotel was clean, staff was extremely helpful, can't say enough positive things! Pool is great, kids loved it! Trip was great!

A gem in the rough!
Quiet, clean, beautiful room. Dottie, the "waffle lady" was extremely helpful and friendly. Efficient desk clerks. Other than a plumbing problem, we would stay there again.

good location, fairly priced
We booked late and couldn't get into any hotels/motels with a view. This was a convenient location to sightsee around Cape Ann. The room was clean and was always refreshed when we returned in the afternoon to rest and get ready for dinner.

We had a great meal at Lobsta Land, don't be fooled by the funky name. Essex Seafood had the best fried clams and we ejoyed Flav's Red Skiff in Rockport for breakfast.

Rockport-Gloucester
Good location for visiting Rockport and Gloucester, and a short distance to MBTA Commuter Rail station, making a full-day Boston visit very convenient. Short drive into Gloucester.

Nicely rennovated Inn
The hotel has a friendly and helpful desk staff and is decorated tastefully. The room was very clean and met all of our expectations. The tennis courts (2) were in great condition and free when we wanted to play. It is a family friendly place with a good continental breakfast-nothing fabulous but very acceptable. The location was great as we were only minutes from the downtown stores and warf area. This was a nice facility that we would not mind returning to.

Make a reservation if you want to eat at great gourmet restaurant right on the water. It is called My Place By The Sea. They pay attention to little details and make quality service a priority. Beautiful view and fabulous food- on the pricey side though

Rockport Inn and Suites
We had a very pleasant stay. My only complaint is that it is easy to hear noise from other rooms and outside. But otherwise it was a very nice spot and I would go back.

Make sure to make dinner reservations anywhere you are going in the area - there are many tourists and things fill up very fast.
