Four Points by Sheraton Boston Logan Airport

If you are planning on staying in the Boston area close to the airport, stay away, far far away from the Sheraton in Revere. The place is older than dirt, and...speaking of dirt, is not clean. What a dump!

I you need a semi clean room with a moderate roar from the roadway with terrible parking and a staff that is more interested about texting on their cell phones than helping you this is the place. The only thing missing was the chalk body out lines and sound of vending machines about to explode.

The checkin experience did not in any way make us feel welcome. The staff at the front desk were downright surly. It was impossible to wrest the person in the cafe from a personal phone call, so we were forced to seek a beverage elsewhere. If you're lucky enough to bump into one of the shuttle drivers you will receive some information about that service. While it does run 24 hrs it doesn't bring you into the city. It only drops you at the T. On your return trip you must call from the T and wait about 15 min., or longer if they are picking up other patrons, in the freezing cold for someone to show up. On balance this is a place to stay near Boston but buyer beware

Four Points by Sheraton Boston Logan Airport is located a little bit far away from the airport but they offer a free transportation so it won't be a problem. Room was very clean and staff was very nice.

I was overnighting before an early flight the next day and found the hotel very convenient for that purpose. Room was very nice and clean.

The Four Points Sheraton was very comfortable, the room was nice size and adequate space for hanging clothes, The location was very good, restaurants very close, shuttle service provided where I needed to go.

I rented this room for the night before a wedding. The staff was very accomodating and let us use a private room for pictures. The room and bathroom were great size for having 4 women getting ready at once. The room was very clean and beds were very comfortable.

The only setbacks are the clogged up bath tub during shower or bath. The bath room is considerable small.

For the location and price I should not complain about this hotel. However, I wonder whether the hotel is taking advantage of their transient customers who probably only stay rarely. I have several complaints. When I checked in I asked if my room was a quiet one and was told yes. The room overlooked the freeway! So I had to change rooms. The second room was satisfactory - quiet and nearer the entrance which was good for an early departure. However, the toilet looked dirty - it had bits in it and the sink surround had black marks. I had to go to the front desk about this as the phone was dead. Housekeeping checked and cleaned the toilet, however I later noticed a used paper napkin from a takeout in a corner under the exterior shower curtain. Obviously no-one had cleaned the floor properly nor chcked it. I ate in the bar and the service was very friendly. However, the barmaid forgot to bring me my drink as she was involved in fiddling with the TV. She had to be reminded!The main restaurant was Japanese and it is a pity the menu doesn't include some standard American dishes. I would have prefered to eat there as the bar was very dark. My wake up call was 30 minuts earlier than booked -- and sleep for a very early departure is at a premium. On the plus side the hotel was far enough from the airport not to be bothered by aircraft noise so one could get a good night's sleep. The room was large enough, plenty of chairs and comfortable enough even if the decor of the hotel in general a bit 'tired'. It was conveniently located near a shopping mall -- I was pleased to see Burlington Coat Factory there. The quarter hourly shuttle bus service was excellent - reliable, helpful and courteous. So if I had to stay near Logan again I would probably reuse but make sure the room was cleaned properly.

We had to leave on the 7:30 bus for the airport. When we awoke to shower, there was no hot water. After a while, we tried it again. Not any better. We let the water run & finally wound up with a cool to lukewarm shower. Not a good way to start the day.
