Close to the action!
Our stay was a Mother-Daughter week-end. We took the Beach Shuttle to Herring Cove, it was close by and only cost $2.00 a person. Much less expensive than a $15.00 parking fee at the beach. We had a nice breakfast, [...] made apple coffee cake, and muffins, there was cereal, and hard boiled eggs, and fresh fruit, we had juice, tea or coffee. It was served outside in a small garden area. That is where we met a wonderful gentleman, an artist from San Francisco. He came in on the ferry from Boston and was able to walk from the wharf to the Victoria House with ease.Although we had a room with one queen sized bed, it was very comfortable, and we slept well. We also had a shared bathroom. I had reservations about that, but truly never had to wait and their was no vacancy in the house. We ate at Napi's,which is directly behind the Victoria House. We went during early bird time,5:00-6:00 pm and had a great selection to choose from. For $20.00 we got our choice of salad or soup and the entree, dessert was included. We were hungry after being on the beach most of the day and enjoyed eating early. After dinner we went to a drag show called "Icons".Famous performers were impersonated and it was fun.It went from Madonna and Whitney Houston to Beyonce and Lady Ga Ga, and many bachelorette parties were being held there. You couldn't beat it for $20.00. It was an easy walk back to the Victoria House. We were hoping to take a schooner out sailing at sunset, but none were available that evening. On our way out of town we found Truro Vineyards, we had to decide on a tour, or go to the beach.....The beach was the answer. We headed to Marconi Beach in Wellfleet, and due to rip currents from a very distant hurricane, the beach was full of surfers catching the waves. So much fun to watch. I'd have to say, the only thing I wished for was ice,an ice bucket, and a wine glass. There is a convenience store right across the street, we got ice for $2.00. We even had a small refrigerator in our room, so eventually the wine got chilled. I have stayed in Provincetown in the past and always had to drive into town, pay the parking fees. [...] has a few parking spaces for only $5.00 a day!! I would never stay outside of town again. The Victoria House is a nice place to stay, I'd stay there again.

Right in the center of everything.
The Victoria B & B was a clean and comfortable stay. The manager was very accomodating and friendly. My room was very, very small but they do have some great rooms and you can't beat the location.

Great Location in a Pinch
Victoria House is right in the middle of downtown Provincetown within walking distance of many great shops and restaurants. Staff were helpful and friendly. Rooms are very small but clean and they are not handicap accessible. Bathrooms are shared and the front door key also unlocks your room so be careful what you lock in there. Parking is free and a 10 minute walk up hill but you can load and unload luggage street side. Then it's just 3 more minutes walk to all the action!

Great location
While the hotel is just average, the location is excellent. I was able to walk to everything on Commercial Street, and I could stop by my room at anytime to drop-off items, change clothes or rest before heading out again.
