A Relaxing Weekend

The Chateau is surrounded by trees and there is no ocean view, however, it is a short driving distance to Herring Cove Beach and downtown Provincetown. We recommend eating at Montano's in North Truro for a delightful dinner.

Weekend in Provincetown

The hotel was clean and basic with rather old fashioned decor. The pool area was very nice, pretty, flowers, greenery. They claimed a water view and we could see it but pretty far away so there was no real advantage. Pretty far from the action in downtown Provincetown--could be a good thing.

Nice but noisy at night

Great location, daytime staff very responsive and friendly, grounds beautifully kept, room clean, very nice buffet/breakfast in the morning. However, it can be quite noisy at night, due to the layout of the rooms and management allowing people to congregate in front of rooms late at night. We were woken up around 1.15 am by a large group of screaming clients, called the management office with no response. Not the kind of experience you expect for this price!!!

Provincetown Hotel Excellent

The Hotel was great and all the staff were very helpful. The room was stunningly clean and roomy. The pool was fabulous, and the grounds were well manicured and colorful with flowers. We could sit by the pool with our breakfast and enjoy it all. The complimentary breakfast was fruit, cereal, baked rolls, juices, lots of choices on Kureg coffee or other drinks. Overall, we had a delightful time.

Non Communicative Hotel!!

Did ended up not staying at this hotel. I booked the hotel in January for a June reservation and 3 weeks prior to my stay I tried to contact them to confirm my reservation. They did not return any of my phone calls or emails so I paniced and reserved a room at another hotel and canceled this one. I had to go through Amex to get my money back because they again would not return my confirmation of cancelation emails.
