Hampton Inn Boston/Peabody

Our kids (as well as we did) enjoyed our stay here. The staff was friendly, rooms were quiet and clean, beds were comfortable, location was very accessible. We unfortunately had a hard time adjusting the heat to turn it down, so it was a little warm. Overally, a great place to stay. The kids loved the indoor pool. A full breakfast spread as well with make your own waffles, a variety of juices, cereals, bagels, scrambled eggs, and homefries. Thumbs up!

My wife and I stayed in Peabody during Halloween weekend since everything in Salem was booked. Having been pleasantly surprised in the past w/ the Hampton Inn chain, we booked a 2 night stay at this location. The highlights were that the front office stay was tremendously helpful. They provided us w/ plenty of info on Salem and helped us procure transportation to both Salem and to the train station back to Boston. As far as the room goes, we were disappointed. The bathroom had a faintly uriney smell throughout which we eventually traced back to the walls of the shower. Bathroom stank aside, the room was comfortable but another big minus for us was that we could hear every word of conversation going on in the adjacent room which greatly reduced our own sense of privacy. Finally, the continental breakfast was very mediocre what with the sludgy OJ from concentrate, no doubt powdered scrambled eggs, etc...the only saving grace was the belgian waffle maker. Overall, for the drawbacks cited above, we would not recommend staying at this particular Hampton Inn.

When we checked in the room we had booked we were told was "out of order" and that we had to chhose either a SMOKING room with a king & pull out (which was nasty)or a nonsmoking w only king bed. My friend & I chose the non smoking because the smoking room smelled disgusting! That whole floor smelled nasty! The walls are paper thin & heard the guy next door hacking the whole night! Pool was ice cold and brakfast was gone very quickly and didnt taste very good. I def would not reccomend nor stay there again. For the high price we paid, it def was NOT WORTH IT!!! Very disappointed

The hotel was great for us. We had a fairly cranky child, but people adjacent to us did not hear him at all, so the sound-proofing was excellent. We left too early to enjoy the breakfast, but would definitely stay at this location again when we return again.

quick and easy check in, rooms clean and spacious, breakfast options great. The man who runs the breakfast room was incredibly friendly, happy and helpful.

Room was clean and the location for us was perfect. The breakfast was alright...nothing special....The staff was very courteous and friendly. Would definately stay there again when we go to visit our children.

Horrible! Wedding party of under-aged drinkers. Woke us up @ 11:00PM. Walls thin as paper! Door slamming and lots of yelling. Contacted management and their efforts worked about 10 minutes. Had to re-contact management @ 12:15AM and was told "I was already up there once" and DID NOT offer to help at all. I had to suggest he come up again and take care of this.!!! Air conditioning didn't work, floor lamp an electrical disaster and extremely dangerous.
