Boston Marriott Newton

I always stay at the Newton Marriott when I travel in the Boston area - its location right at the crossroads of 90 and 95 makes it the perfect hub. Also, the views of the Charles are serene and the staff is friendly and helpful. They always remember me!

You can't beat a Marriott for comfy beds. Our room was immaculate. Little disappointed that coffee was not available til 7:30 at Starbucks and restaurant. I recommend ordering the buffet for $18 rather than ordering off the menu. Individual items are sky high! Shuttle service is limited. Itt took three phone transfers before someone could tell us how many miles it was from the 128 train station. On-site staff wonderful!

the hotel is very accessible from major highways yet convenient to all that Boston has to offer. It's in the perfect location! The staff were friendly and attentive to needs, the room was clean and well appointed. All in all, a very pleasant experience and an excellent value.

Our flight to Puerto Rico was cancelled because of the first snow storm of the winter. It was very disappointing, but we decided to spend our week in Boston and make the best of it. Not only were we lucky enough to get a room for 4 nights in the Boston area, we got a wonderful room. Although it was a distance from Boston, shuttle service was available to the train station making our new year's eve celebration much safer. The hotel staff, from front desk, lounge, drivers, and housekeeping were very helpful and kind. Although there wasn't free Wi-Fi, with a smartphone it didn't bother us, and there was on-line access from the lobby computers. We had a great time!!! Thank you!!!

Our stay at the Newton Marriott was comfortable. However charges for a few amenities which should have been free were annoying - $12.95/day in room wireless and $9/day parking. I realize that the hotel does have quite a few corporate customers whose companies cover the wireless, but I still think the charge is somewhat chintzy. Also I could understand the parking fee if the hotel were in the city, but Newton is definitely a suburban setting with an outdoor lot.

I've stay at this hotel several times. They recently renovated the hotel so it's very nice. Very conveniently located off thre Mass Pike and I-95 and only minutes outside Boston.

When I stayed here 15 years ago after my wedding, the Boston Marriott Newton seemed more 'fancy'. But now, 15 years later, not much seemed different to me. we had a room at perhaps the farthest end of the hotel, and it literally took us 5 minutes to get there from the elevator. The drink machine was 'sold out' the entire time we were there. we only had 3 bath towels daily for a 4 person #2 queen# room, and for over a day there was a pile of dirty towels left in the hallway outside our room. And I was amazed to know fine hotels still charged #$13/day# for internet.

Clean updated room, nice bar area, no issues with my stay. Desk and foodservice staff were extremely helpful on every request.

the location of this hotel is perfect. very quiet. convenient location in boston.

We only had a quick one night stay for a family wedding. The hotel location made it very easy for us to access the highway. They allowed for an early check in so we could get ready. We used a limo shuttle service direct from the airport to the hotel, which also made it very convenient and cost less than a taxi. The hotel was beautiful, with a nice view, and some conveniences like the coffee shop and bar.
