Days Inn New Bedford

The linen was changed once over the course of a week. The carpet was not vacuumed. Trash was not emptied twice. they still use old standard TV's with no remote. The desk service was very good. It was good to get a peaceful rest each night.

This hotel is dismal. It was supposed to have internet access, but could not get it to work. I was asked if I had reservation, when in fact, I had the reservation for the whole week. One hotel staff does not seem to know what the other staff is doing, terribly inconveniencing the customer. It had a lot of rooms available, but only give me an alternate room (where internet access was available) after pleading with them. Unless the hotel significantly improved its service, I would not want to stay at this hotel.

For a $140 per night, the worse. Rooms r smelly, pool is dirty, no towels, no lights, nothing works!!! Breakfast is really bad, no cereal, and the rest is just old bread, and coffee. Never will stay in a days inn too bad for other good ones. The only good about this place, the people who work here very respectful!!!

THE FIRST ROOM ASSIGNED TO US WAS UNPREPED AND STILL IN A STATE OF DISHELVED NESS. THE SECOND ROOM WE GOT WAS GOOD HOWEVER THE ROOM KEY DID NOT OPEN THE DOORS TO THE POOL AND THIS PROBLEM WAS NEVER CORRECTED DESPITE OUR BRINGING IT TO THE ATTENTION OF THE STAFF. THE BREAKFAST WAS DUNKIN DONUTS AND COFFEE WHICH RAN OUT OUR FIRST MORNING THERE AND THE DONUTS CONSISTED OF A SINGLE 1/2 DOZEN BOX SOGGY. THE STAFF WAS COURTEOUS AND DELIVERED THE IRON AND BOARD AS REQUESTED IN A JIFFY. THE BREAKFAST THE SECOND DAY WAS MARGINALLY BETTER WITH A FULL DOZEN MINUS TWO WAITING FOR US AT 6 AM. THE COFFEE WAS REPLENISHED AS WELL.

Hard to find, no sign visible from highway, had to call to get directions. Motel was in a run down condition. Was directed to room on floor where there were NO lights, pitch dark, and the room light didn't work either. Very scary, as it was after dark. Changed rooms, and the new room had a plastic bag covering the smoke alarm (obviously somebody had used it as a smoking room) On the positive side, desk service was friendly and breakfast was fresh and clean (although the TV in the breakfast room didn't work and I was told the cable "didn't reach that far"...so why put one in there?)[...]

The smell was from the construction, I think. I would stay there again after the construction is completed.

the location was good. But I have to say this would not be on my top 5 list. Got map at desk for room but there were no signs on walls for room numbers difficult to navigate. Ceilings in outside walkway leaking. The 6 am breakfast was a much welcomed positive for a worn down needs to be revamped hotel.

Our purpose was to visit friends. We just needed a place to spend the night. Staff was courteous, helpful, and friendly. The hotel was very reasonably priced.

This is a motel style place off the main track (good) but the rug in the room needs to be replaced or seriously cleaned. Sheets were not changed at all for 3 days, which didn't hurt our feelings, but we were used to better care. No phone whatsoever the whole time. No wi-fi either unless you went to the front desk and got plugged in to their system. Bkfst was minimal but OK. Staff very pleasant. TV worked (surprise) but, I would expect better than I got.
